    In episode 191 of the Desire To Trade Podcast, I interview full-time price action trader Nick Bencino from Forex4Noobs to discuss how to make a living scalping price action in the Forex market.
    Being a Forex trader first, Nick started to apply his price action knowledge into the crypto trading world and is currently developing price action strategies mainly for Bitcoin.

    // ABOUT ME
    My name is Etienne Crete (from Montreal, Canada). I'm a swing Forex trader and help aspiring Forex traders develop a trading method that works for them so they can produce income allowing them to live with more freedom.
    I blog at www.desiretotrade.com and host the Desire To Trade Podcast. I was fed up with the “fake” millionaire traders and the “get-rich-quick-trading guys”. That's why you can expect more free content from me than what other people charge for!
    If you truly want to succeed in Forex trading, I believe you need to keep working on yourself so you can improve your strengths, but also your weaknesses. Do not focus solely on what you're good at.
    // Disclaimer
    This video expresses my personal opinion only. Forex trading is risky. Make sure you are ready to trade. Even this will not guarantee you positive results. I am not responsible for any losses incurred due to your trading or anything else. I do not recommend any specific trade or action.

    Hi Nick, I really like your idea of being flexible on time frames. It perfectly makes sense to come down to the lower time frames even after three and half years of your interview. Thanks Etienne for a great interview and asking intelligent questions as always.

    I agree with other commenters. Good food for thought, but live examples would have been very helpful. Interesting to here Nick refer to trading on a 12hr or 8hr chart as "scalping". I think of scalping typically done on a 1min, 5 min, or 15min chart. This would be a good thing to expand upon in a follow-up. As well as maintaining sight of market direction with each....

      I think either I misspoke or you misunderstood, I am not sure which and if I misspoke then sorry! I do not consider the 12hr or 8hr charts scalping. While you can use the scalping setups I trade on the 12hr and 8hr charts the trades you enter are not really scalps. Personally I define scalping as 5-15 min charts, day trading as 1-4 hr charts and swing trading as anything higher than that.

      forex4noobs.com you sound Aussie mate, good to see more Aussies getting big in trading. You made me consider the price action strategy more seriously, I also consider indicators are huge distraction and wish to get started asap with my own learning about forex. Cheers.

    You don't need indicators. They're all delayed. They mean nothing. You can scalp long even in a down market, and vice versa. So what's the point? None.

      Yep, they are pretty quiet. I don't think anybody can predict how long it will last. Could be a few months or a few years. This is why I think adapting is a good idea.
