The official video for the song " Ghost" by Frantic Amber. Frantic Amber which won the swedish wacken metal battle 2012.
Since the line-up was solidified in 2010, the band over 40 gigs including two tours to Russia, the latest one in September 2011, as well as a successful gig at Sweden Rock Festival, Metaltown, Rockstad Falun and Wacken Open Air.
Frantic Amber started this year with an a successful performance at P3 Gold 2012 Awards. The event was awarded in front of 2500 people at Lisebergshallen in was broadcasted in Nordic national television channels and radio.

Totally agree! Many bands with female singers are my favorite, some of them are: Frantic Amber, Cerebral Bore, Putrified Beauty and Forger.
i dont think women are "dominating" metal.... but it's good to see more female metal artist for sure.

i really enjoyed the music. they have a amazing sound, very artistic. and i can see they have there own way into a melody that makes me paint all kinds of pictures in my mind. and the video is very well put together. i give it 5 stars.

I keep following this list of recommended videos, and it's not disappointing me.
I love the fact that most of the band is comprised of women, none of which are overtly sexualized (which is not the case in most other bands with female members).

Not sure why people keep referring to this as black metal. I'm in no way an elitist,, but this isn't black metal. It's too cleaned up. Pretty sure that melodic death would cover it.

I can't understand the hostility towards the vocal, since her vocal ability is clearly a strong point of this group! I think men are afraid to admit that a woman can bring a higher range and certain clarity to vocals and make it all come together and sound pleasing to the ear! Men have to remember that it's a woman and get the male vocal mindset out of their heads for once! There's plenty of fine female voices in metal and this girl is one of them! +Wayne White Personally I just don't enjoy this type of vocally styling - male or female. The band is good but as soon as she starts singing I'm like "Fuck this."
+BonBon --I'd like to ask you... If you listen to Angela Gossow, Otep or Alyssa White-Gluz for example; Don't you agree that it takes a lot for them to get to that low type vocal? They naturally have high voices and can sing that way also, which makes them pretty versatile; doncha think? Anyways, it all comes down to what's pleasing to the ears I guess...lol! TC man!

I'm very particular when it comes to metal singers, in that they will either make it or break it for me; especially if I can't make out the lyrics. However, I will be searching out more from this band.

You completely missed the point. Everyone is talking about the normal bands that are well known. No one even mentioned Crisis from New York, which is fucked up considering Karyn Crisis kicked down the door for every extreme female singer. People need to stop looking at the mainstream, their are a ton of female musicians and bands and have been for a long time, they just were not sex objects at the time, they were fellow Metal Heads.

started out great, but then lost its originality and identity as soon as the break and singer started. Another clone band. The band is obviously bad ass, but I already have these 50 albums.
I feelt exaclty the same, the intro and outro of the song are quite good and with personality, but the then jump into a "generic" modern black metal.

Thats what I thought when Angela Gossow joined Arch Enemy. Keep in mind AE did NOT start with Angela rather Johann Liiva. All they did was replace him with her, so the sound they have isn't unique because of her or her being a female vocalist. That was born from them playing with a male lead. So shes just the female tribute herself.

Wow, that comment shows the greatest lack of understanding of a band I've read in a long time. Try actually listening to their entire discography with a discerning ear, and perhaps a focus on lyrics, song structure, and individual band members' evolving instrumental contribution to the albums and then you might be able to convert your bitterness towards women to something more constructive and intelligent.
