#1 rule is DO NOT draft 2 qbs early, get an anchor qb and while the rest of the league scrambles at round 2/3 for QB2 you get a top wr. Won my league getting Lamb in that position and Goff in round 6- qb is too deep to press on filling it out early

The reason I only need 1 source for all of my dynasty content is because my boys Danny and Corey never forget that I play in ONE and one only redraft league and that league happens to be my favorite league and that league is SUPAFLEX. One other particular about this amazing league is that I’m the returning champ. Have you guys done the Superflex drafts on Underdog? With 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX, 1 SFLEX, & 12 bench I'm trying to figure out the right roster construction. Thinking 3 QB, 7 RB, 7 WR, & 3 TE with a plus/minus one for RB, WR, and TE based on how hard I hit one of those after the initial QBs.
Superflex + 3 WR + full PPR. Its not PERFECT, but it gets you pretty damn close to QB/WR/RB all having the same value. I run a 12 team league with those settings and last year we had 4 of each WR QB RB drafted in the first round for perfect balance (I went RB/QB at the turn, so it could have been 5 QB 4 WR 3 RB but still really even).
Started an 8 man SF League with members from a 14 man League. We wanted to do something fun apart from the depravity a 14 man league can be. Draft was yesterday and I got Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. Feel good as I also have Mixon Davante Adams G Wilson Kupp and Kelce
In a perfect draft you get 2 QBs and 2 RBs in your first 4 rounds. You can find WRs in later rounds... you can even nab a decent TE (last year Engram was going late). Later rounds you can get someone with a ton of volume like Dionte Johnson and likely a #1 in Calvin Ridley plus the Chiefs WR (Rice is the pick, he isn't getting suspended this year).
Great video. Given the scarcity / depth this season, it seems like league size should determine your philosophy. In an 8 player league your strategy is very different from a 12-person league.
I enjoy the data driven approach. One question I’d have is how much of an effect stacking really had on win % / top 6 % when you compare it to similarly-performing WR/QBs (e.g. did the Lamb/Dak stack really have a significantly higher win % than someone with ARSB/Dak?). If the win % actually is higher, does that offset the risk of both players taking a massive hit if just one of them becomes injured? Always been skeptical of stacking outside of best ball, though I still like the concept of potentially investing into a QB/WR you think are on an underrated offense.
I will say (in regards to using UD ADPs) SF is somewhere that I feel BestBall ADP and managed ADPs are deservedly fairly different because the QB3 is far more valuable in Bestball. So you need to be far more careful about waiting to round 3+ for your first QB and to some extent your 2nd QB even if you have an anchor and the WRs/RBs in that range are the best values.
9:21 Hate when people say that superflex leagues where QBs don’t fly off the board early “don’t know how to draft” or “don’t value QBs properly”. If your league waits on QB, and you go Allen + Hurts in Rounds 1-2 when you could’ve had them in Rounds 3-4, you are not smarter than everyone - those are objectively awful picks. It sounds great until you’re staring down the RB19 in Round 3 when you could’ve had the QB4 instead. Drafting two elite QBs doesn’t guarantee a spot in the ship if 11 other dudes are loading up on RB/WR/TE and grabbing QB values in the middle-late rounds. Obviously on Sleeper and Underdog, QBs are gonna go early and often so you best not fall behind. But data shows that drafting a mid-tier QB in R1 over an elite RB/WR is almost always a negative-EV play, because of the drop off after the elite QBs that you alluded to in the video. Pay attention to how your league drafts. Use tiers. Don’t commit to one strategy because if the rest of the league doesn’t follow suit you’re going to get smoked. For every Mahomes-Lamar team that wins the ship, there’s another that finishes dead last. Would love your input on this because I hear what you said all the time and it makes no sense. There’s no “right” way. It’s all league-dependent.
It is true, superflex is difficult to gauge sometimes because every league values QBs differently, Definitely think it's the hardest format to give advice for. Knowing the WAR (Wins above replacement) you get from elite QBs it's clear that leagues that don't value QBs highly aren't factoring in the QB scoring enough but you're right no need to reach on QBs if ur league doesn't value them, just make sure you secure two great ones
I hadn’t played FF in years and was invited to a super flex league last year. It was my first time playing super flex. I picked last in a serpentine draft and chose Mahomes and Josh Allen 12 and 13. Championship!
@@RDawgs They had no idea what they were doing, and they had been playing this same format for years. The same two guys had dominated for years. I knew many of the people in the league so definitely not bots. This crazy league also played IDP with every position.

Took Kyler at the 1.06 I just feel like AR5 was a bit of fools gold only playing 2 and an half games last year. After the Bengals game in the preseason I just wasn’t confident in his ability. If Kyler can stay healthy I believe he has Top 5 QB upside.

In such a format I'd say replacement level WRs get about 8-8.5 PPG (assuming half PPR) a replacement level QB is about 14 PPG so after the first 3-4 QBs yeah WRs start getting comparatively pretty valuable. I still would take Hurts 1.01 though. Also ironically the more flex spots you need the more value your QBs provide in the SF spot. Normally if you need to fill a bye week with a WR it isn't necessarily terrible but when you are that deep even a QB that will put up 11-15 points is doing way more for that slot than your 6th WR (especially given your other spots are also likely hit by the same byes).

Just by comparing which available position players there are to the QBs and understanding the opportunity cost. Much more willing to take a Love over say jefferson, but once that’s down to the Lawrence range you take Jefferson

No. If you’ve got the 10th pick and your league mates are mostly taking QBs in the first round then take an elite RB or WR and maybe a QB with the 2nd pick. If your league mates aren’t taking QBs in round 1, then you should have much better options than Stroud or Richardson. Allen, Hurts, or Mahomes would likely fall to you in that scenario. You could double up on QBs in that case, or just take one elite QB as an anchor and then draft the best RB/WR available at that point. But in no scenario should you use the 10/11 picks on Stroud and Richardson
Definitely would love to start with two elite QBs if the tiers line up nicely for you, but aside from that, make sure to swing big after like round 6-9 also aim to get an elite TE if u can

My league is not a suplerflex it’s a actual 2QB League, and I have the 1st overall pick should I still go with CMC or go for an ELITE QB? it’s very stressful

I draft 10th overall. Have the toughest keeper decision, I can keep Allen and lose my 1st round 10th overall pick. Keep Murray and lose my 8th round pick. Keep hall and lose my 6th round pick. I was leaning Allen at first, but I see hall and Murray are rising on draft board.
12 teams- 3 QBs each= 36 qbs. Only 32 starting qbs plus injuries. It doesn't add up. Drafting early in Superflex gives you the advantage. Drafting first you take 2 qbs and a top wr on the 2-3 turn. Not fair.

Most SF leagues have settings for 4 point pass td and 6 point rush td, to balance out QB to other positions, however running QBs become uber valuable.
Oh yeh, I think 4PT is standard, it still makes QBs extremely valuable tho because you can start 2

Would going stroud and Richardson at the 10th and 11th pick in a 10 man ppr league be a good choice? Who do you think would be my best options would be? Any help?
No. If you’ve got the 10th pick and your league mates are mostly taking QBs in the first round then take an elite RB or WR and maybe a QB with the 2nd pick. If your league mates aren’t taking QBs in round 1, then you should have much better options than Stroud or Richardson. Allen, Hurts, or Mahomes would likely fall to you in that scenario. You could double up on QBs in that case, or just take one elite QB as an anchor and then draft the best RB/WR available at that point. But in no scenario should you use the 10/11 picks on Stroud and Richardson
So I’m in a 8 man superflex league with two flexes as well. I have the 6th pick in the draft. What’s your advice for me for my draft??
Definitely would love to start with two elite QBs if the tiers line up nicely for you, but aside from that, make sure to swing big after like round 6-9 also aim to get an elite TE if u can

@@FantasyStockExchangenot many elite te if he gets a qb first two. There’s only like 3 TE will past 200 guarantee. Rest will be 170-190 range. Then a huge drop off.

My league is not a suplerflex it’s a actual 2QB League, and I have the 1st overall pick should I still go with CMC or go for an ELITE QB? it’s very stressful
Depends on your scoring but id go Allen then as these guys are saying go RB/WR in 2nd and 3rd and get 2nd qb in 4th unless a stud falls to you in 2nd

Depends on who's left but you can always draft another QB1 in the 1st, can't get a Puka in the 8th

As the 3rd pick you have to pick a work horse rb. You will be able to get really good qbs still on the 2-3 turn

I draft 10th overall. Have the toughest keeper decision, I can keep Allen and lose my 1st round 10th overall pick. Keep Murray and lose my 8th round pick. Keep hall and lose my 6th round pick.
I was leaning Allen at first, but I see hall and Murray are rising on draft board.

12 teams- 3 QBs each= 36 qbs. Only 32 starting qbs plus injuries. It doesn't add up. Drafting early in Superflex gives you the advantage. Drafting first you take 2 qbs and a top wr on the 2-3 turn. Not fair.
