+Thomas Owsiok Cloud can easily edgeguard diddy kong and the matchup is not that bad for him. Hungrybox can beat Mango's Fox with Jigglypuff so I think it's possible for m2k to beat a diddy kong (he already did it)

In terms of M2K, solo maining Cloud is fine however I do think he needs a counter-pick character just to cover those bad match ups Cloud struggles with. Most characters don't have a lot of kill options. Diddy's strongest are dtilt -> usmash, upthrow -> uair 50/50, banana -> usmash and he's mixing them pretty good imo. And if you're talking about the dsmash edgeguards, that's just how you punish a cloud who who misses the ledge sweetspot.

I think of the number representing how many "stocks" the player has. In a way your next stock starts the instant you take damage.
