This is the Cavaliers' first playoff win without LeBron James since 4/27/98 when they won Game 3 against the Pacers in the 1st round.
Who cares... LeBron played over 11 years with the Cavs. The Saturday game of NY was first win and leading a series in 7 years.
@@Kemet3.0 You clearly care, moron. And here's a newsflash for you: Outside of New York, nobody cares about the Knicks and their historic purgatory. It's funny how you bring up a win in Game 1 for the Knicks which is their first series-opening road win since 5/30/99 AFTER they stomped in Game 2 by the Cavaliers. Loser. 🤡
@@Kemet3.0 It's a big deal for Clevelanders. All of Cleveland care.
@@GOPACKERSJTno we dont...LeBron is part of our history. This is our first playoff win since 2018 ecf period
@@marquanmr he meant the bronsexuals 😂😂😂😂
Darius Garland joins LeBron and Kyrie as the only Cavs with more than 25 points in a playoff half over the last 25 seasons!
Aggressive DG wins big games. Hope he comes out like this in NY, go cavs
Garland Mitchell and Mobley for the foreseeable future…. This has a chance to be better than the lebron era.
True more talent top to bottom, bron cavs were too heavy
Let’s go garland and Cavs! ❤️💛
Sensenational performance in first half set the tone for the Game
D garland 🖤💪🏽 nice seeing bro get this far bro be hooping no cap
Yooo knick fan where you at 😂🤣.Dg the pg on fire tonight . let's go cavs 🔥
Series is tied, let's not get ahead of ourselves. I usually don't bash refs; however, I do yell at them, but this was lopsided officiated, touch fouls on the Knicks players and Cavs players were literally tackling the Knicks and no calls. We all saw it, just a fan's take.
@@puppethound What about when Randle came down on Mobley and they didn’t call it? Or when he hooked Jarret Allen down to the ground with him? Or when Cedi Osman was getting smacked around when he grabbed the rebound? Just to name a few. All no calls 😭
@@puppethound stfu 😭 tell yo team to stop fouling
Cavs have been one of the most physical teams in the league all year. They got away from that physicality in game 1, but definitely got back to it on game 2
Boy balled out! Let’s go
Yessir DG!!!
Go cavs 🔥
DG the PG 🔥
Must win game for the Cavs!
Very nice 👍👍
Colt 45 🔥🔥🔥
Go Cavs!!!!
About time they get him going
DG is so shifty and nice with it🔥
New York must know that the Cavs have 3 players that could explode for 40 pts. at any moment.
Where's all those knick fans saying "Knicks in 3"
Going to need 25+ from Donovan and Darius each next couple games.
Either that or suffocating defense.
"THREE!!!"
- Cavs PA after Garland making too many threes
Let's go Darius Garland keep putting that 💪🏿 work in fam we need that 💍 and we going all the way Awesome victory my cavs 👏🏿 😎
Rubio planted seeds and Donovan spread water.
What rubio has to do with this? He is garbage, dont know hoe they still keep him in the league
This gonna be a series
Cleveland you needed this win badly. There was no way you would have survived going down 0-2 heading to MSG. But hey, as long as you steal either Game 3 or 4 you'll be fine just saying.
The Cavs kicked their ass. It wasn't close like the last game, you're acting like we needed this like the Knicks needed the first game. Knick's fans are unnecessarily arrogant like they have something up on the Cavs that's f****** hilarious😂
@@nicoleg8524 True, but considering that the Cavs have been mediocre on the road this year in comparison to their record at home it's a huge win.
As a cavs fan, of course we weren’t coming back from 0-2 at HOME….we are too young and it would have broke this team if that had happened (if we are on the road it’s a different story).
That first game was all nerves though from a young team getting its first real postseason taste. I think we take game 3 Friday and then the rest of the series is just to see how many games it takes to finish them off.
We taking both
@@michaelhession2105 the Knicks have been mediocre at home
Darius activated basketball GOD Mode! 💯
Bro why didn't J.B build a plan around this. Obviously when dg is the focus we actually win, with Donavon unfortunately it's just high stats with no actual reward. But when DG goes off we have everything put together. Why did we not fire him
Change of pace god
The ball barely touched the rim when he shot
Congrats to Cavs fans on this win. Garland came to play and the Knicks had no answers to the Cavs swarming Defense. However, this was a must win for the Cavs, so it was kind of expected they would come out hard and my take (from a Knicks fan's perspective) I wouldn't have expect the Cavs to roll over if they went down 2-0, so winning at least one at home statistically keeps the Knicks in favor of winning the series because if the Knicks won today and went up 2-0, that would have meant that the Cavs win game 3 for sure and push the home court advantage back to Cleveland, because the Knicks were't sweeping the Cavs or vice versa. I feel that was safe to say because most fans had this series going to 6 or most likely 7. I said Knicks in 5 and will still stick to that. Underrated series so far.
Calm down bud don’t gotta write a whole paragraph
We’re gonna dog on you guys on Friday 😂😂
In 2 games, the Cavs look extremely comfortable defending NY. I think that continues as the series goes on. If the Knicks had another dynamic player like Brunson then maybe I would change my mind but the Cavs can take the ball out of his hands and force the others to beat them. Plus Knicks sole strategy has been to get the 2nd chance points. If the Knicks don’t decisively win the rebounding advantage every game then I don’t see how they win 4 games.

Play D in the first quarter and this is what happens...Garland and Mobley are too important to be left behind.

Mitchell's playmaking stood out to me. A lot of people were accusing him of ball hogging in Game 1 (even though he was keeping his team in the game, although he does do that at times). Tonight, focusing on getting his teammates going was important. Also, Mobley and Allen were terrific on the glass. 23 rebounds between them. LeVert gave them a big punch. Danny Green replacing Okoro was a smart move by J.B. Bickerstaff.
TNT broadcast so much better than ESPN it's unreal
Cavs defense crazy tonight
