Dear doctor. I am a cll patient and my doctor is giving me tab ibrutinib two daily to me. Eight months have passed.. ever since I am taking tab ibrutinib I am fine and feeling well but I am feeling one thing in my body. My body weight has reduced. Please advise me why there is reduction in weight.

I took ibrutinib for about two years. Have no side effects so far, CBC, WEIGHT etc all ok. Have now stopped for six months taking ibrutinib, can there be amu danger or can it be life threatening as i hv stoped ibrutinib since 5 months, in betwen two cbc reports also notmal. Please suggest. @jedlee8326 yes. Was diagnosed in 2011. Next 3 yrs only wait n watch. After 3 yrs, 6 chemos, BR (BENDAMUSTIN + RITUXIMAB) monthly basis. Then remission of 3 years. Next was oral Chemo as IBRUTINIB for 3 yrs. As no side effects, mutually with Dr, decided to discontinue IBRUTINIB for 6 months. As WBC started increasing, was advised newer version of IBRUTINIB. But as its very costly, have got prescription of IBRUTINIB. I presume to be ok to continue with this. Your comments please sir. Thank you very much for prompt response. 😀
Anyone knows how to get ibrutinib at cheaper rate like from jan aushadi or anywhere else where we can get this medicine at cheaper rate this information will really useful for someone please please rply if you see my comment

Is this ibrutinib a lifetime requited medicine ? or can we discontinue after say 2 years n no side effects at all, with all parameters RBC, WBC platelet in control ?
