Thank you 🙏 sir. My grandpa worked on top secret projects in ww2 and would not discuss part of his service until the day he died. He told me that it probably didn’t matter anymore but it was a matter of honor he was told when he was debriefed that he could not talk about it and he never did
My husband was debriefedin the same manner when he left Vietnam. Imagine his surprise while watching a history channel show about the Vietnam war and alot of the very scenarios he had kept quiet about were mentioned on the broadcast. He was extremely upset and recalled some of horrific details he had never before divulged to me. He felt our govt.had slapped him in the face again.
