I feel like Trade L will grow so much from this show. I genuinely wish he does. But so far, he seems to look very nervous and stressed out. I hope he understands that he has come so far already for achieving every Korean rappers' dream of being in H1GHR Music working alongside some of the best in the industry. The reality is there will be so many "better" and skillful rappers out there, especially if you join a competition like High School Rapper 4 where you have so many eyeballs around the world. Why would you hate Trade L for joining “for connections” when dude is a teen. Don’t all smtm contestants have connections with the producer too? SMTM3 didn’t Cjamm, Giriboy, & the other guy join while Swings was the producer? Why can’t Trade L just join to showcase himself just like how pH-1 joined smtm to be exposed more & hopefully gain more fans
come on yall i agree that jay is putting pressure on TL but it’s also because he knows how much this boy can do, TL can do much better than this. For everyone hating on Jay kinda roasting TL, Jay said in an interview, that 'he regretted being so harsh to him' and that he shouldn't have said it in such a cold tone (btw he said sth like: 'you think you have it all, just bc you are in h1ghr?' or a little different....) but don't roast anyone here because jay probably didn't intend to say things that harshly and remember: hsr is a show were rappers can show their potential and improve through feedback and get new experience..... not a show, where the audience is roasting someone in the comments, it's not like someone committed a crime, so why make a scene out of this??? i don't mean any of this in a bad way, but i don't like people talking behind someones backs especially when they don't know some details.... anyways sorry for this whole damn book i just wrote😅😂 i want to add, that he did really well though in my opinion!!

Some knetz were giving TL hate for joining so Jay decided to be more strict to him just like what swings does in smtm with the fire pit round with his artists but the diff is after the fire pit round swings behavior was like do good or do bad it’s your journey, in here I’m not your boss. But this is diff jay is putting too much pressure on trade l. He said he could feel that he tried too hard to do great and was being ambitious then The Q told TL to just enjoy the competition but I mean can you blame him? Obviously he’ll be burdened especially when Jay is being too obvious with his expectations, being too strict to him cuz he’s in your label is the same as not being fair to him. He needs to start treating him like a contestant and not an artist from his label.
Yes, I think Trade L has too much pressure. But, you need to watch Jay's explanation about the reason why he's like that towards Trade L in one of his interview with Swings as the other guest. He also said that he encouraged Trade L in private through a call and said that he doesn't need to think about others' expectation and just show his will to pursue his music and enjoy himself in this show.
