How to Make 3D PowerPoint (ppt) Presentation

- In this step-by-step tutorial, learn how to add 3D objects to your PowerPoint slides and make them look amazing. 3D objects can add depth, realism and interactivity to your presentations and make them stand out from the crowd. You can use 3D objects to illustrate concepts, create diagrams, or just add some fun and creativity to your slides.
We cover three ways you can add 3D objects to your PowerPoint presentations. The first way is to use the stock 3D models that are available in PowerPoint. These are 3D models that are already built-in and ready to use. You can find them by going to the Insert tab and clicking on 3D Models. You will see a window with different categories of 3D models that you can choose from. You can also search for a specific model by typing in the search box. Once you find the model you want, just click on it and insert it into your slide.
The second way is to find 3D objects on external websites that offer free or paid 3D models. There are many websites that have thousands of 3D models that you can download and use in your presentations. Some of the popular ones are Sketchfab, TurboSquid, CGTrader, and Remix 3D. You can browse these websites and look for the 3D model that suits your topic or theme. You can also filter by format, license, category, and other criteria. Once you download the 3D model, make sure it is in a format that PowerPoint supports, such as .obj or .fbx. Then you can go to the Insert tab and click on 3D Models and choose This Device. You can then browse your computer and select the 3D model file that you downloaded. You can also drag and drop the file into PowerPoint.
The third way is to use AI tools like OpenAI's Shap-e to generate 3D objects from text. Shap-e is a new AI tool that lets you type in any word or phrase and then creates a 3D model based on it. For example, if you type in "cookie", it will generate a 3D model of a cookie. Shap-e uses natural language processing and machine learning to understand your text and create realistic 3D models. You can then download the 3D model as an .obj or .ply file and insert it into your PowerPoint presentation.
By using these three methods, you can add any 3D object you want to your PowerPoint presentation and make it more engaging and interactive. You can also animate your 3D objects using the Animations tab and apply different effects like turntable, swing, jump and turn, etc. You can also customize your 3D objects using the 3D Model tab and change their views, colors, lighting, etc.

14:52 Loved the way you said your next video will be in 2D, Trust me having a little bit of fun in every part of video will be really interesting like sometimes you say in your videos that "Today we'll make something about Keving Cookie Company and those cookies are really delicious.", I know that's not a bad idea to advertise your product.
😅😊😊😊😊😊p😊😊

Thank you so much for this video. I chose it as a great tutorial for a discussion post about how to add 3D models to ppt slides.
Your content is quite fascinating.
Thank you, master.
Hello Kevin May I ask which PPT version is this? mine looks quite different🤫 Thanks in advance.
I am left-handed and I'm trying to figure out how to print a handout where the three miniature slides will be on the right and the writing space is on the left. I have only been able to go so far as the Handout Master view.
How do you label the 3d object ( parts on the object ) and rotate flip, etc. Or is that possible
When I first read your title, I immediately thought of the Nintendo Power Glove from the late 80s
My man!! 👍
Very helpfull DIY for basic user, powerful descriptions...... so much detail about your articulations. and thank you so much for your share. GBU
Wow, thank you!!!
Ok, you win. You gave me enough reasons for subscribing. 😅 thx for the video.
I want to know how to insert 3D objects in older versions of PowerPoint.
Error 404rl
Unfortunately this is not possible office 2019 and later versions 😢
Which version of Powerpoint are you using in this video?
but there is no 3d option in my screen? I'm using the online version
Thanks Kevin!
Thanks again, Sir.....
Bro only have cookie in his mind. Respect💯
Sir I am from pakistan and watch your every video . I have learn a lot from your videos

I downloaded animated 3d models from Sketchfab but when I inserted the models in powerpoint the animations were not working. Is there any ways to insert the animations too?
Can I do whiteboard animation with hand writing using power point? Can you show us in your video? Your ways of sharing is very easy to understand.
What’s version of your powerpoint??
Great !
Kevin please make tutorial videos for slides AI and sheet AI .how to use it in professional life and how it is useful.
Awesome :)
Why are the 3D models output from this AI colorless (all white color)? but in the preview they have color, I'm so confused
I believe the current intent is for you to bring it into a 3D program like Blender where you can then apply a high-quality texture to the object, although it'd be nice to see the texture included as part of the original output. It's only just been released so I'm sure improvements are coming 👍
can you please tell us which ppt aversion you are using
mine seems different
Great video showing great possibilites, but it goes against all I lever learned about presentations 😂. Keep it simple. No movements. One color only and so on. The idea is that the audience should focus on your words, not on the effects of the presentation.
Agreed! Generally, best to keep animations/fluff to a minimum. With morph though, I think you can add subtle animations that don't distract but still uplevel the overall quality and feel of the presentation.
Under "Illustration" how come the 3D Model" icon is missing? How can I correct this? Thanks
Fascinating.
Thank You Very Nice
May I ask which PPT version you are showing here? My interface looks quite different though I'm using Microsoft 365. (V16.73) Thanks in advance.
The same for me
please is this microsoft powerpoint 2016?

I very like your video thank you❤

Thank you for your sharing. When I click on 3D, “This Device” and “Ready 3D Models” do not appear. It directs me directly to the file on my computer. In the file, it does not see the photo I downloaded in GBL format. Can you help with this issue.thank you.
Thank you
I have my own 3d models
Is it possible to insert?
It's usually in its software format.... skp...
When I download the 3d object on the sketchfab its in zip. When I try to extract it, the color or texture is separated from the object making it colorless once I put it on the ppt. Pls help me
same here. Have you found any solutions for it yet?

Shap-E requires separate coverage.
