In today’s Bloons TD 6 video we're going over the top 5 tier 1 towers! We always go over the most overpowered towers in Bloons TD 6 but it's important for us to know the best tier 1 towers to help us win games! If you want to see more BTD 6 in general let me know but hitting that like button!

Superjombombo was talking about first tier upgrades. Alchemist is obviously going to beat it with the buff upgrades, but those are 3rd or 4th tier upgrades. Yes, they are insanely cheap for what you get out of them, but they still require alchemist usage to unlock.

I always start off with Obyn, then a 4-0-2 ninja, then a 2-0-4 Alchemist, trust me this strategy works great

Chris I have to disagree with your #1. I’d have to choose the Sniper of all towers if we are just looking at tier 1 units. Lead popping power? Got it. Camo popping power? Got it. Camo Lead popping power? Got it. Almost infinite range? Got it. Helps out a ton with MOAB class bloons and can whittle down the strongest bloons as soon as they enter the map. For a low cost as well. I still agree with getting your Heli as the first military monkey, but the sniper is an easy second.
Tier 1 sniper is alright. The only problem I have with the sniper is that it's bad against weak balloons that are clumped. He shoots pretty slow even with the tier 1 attack speed upgrade (attack speed tier 2 is a different story)
You should do this same video but with price cut offs for each tower! Like "Spending only 30k total, top 5 best towers"

101 (later 202) tack shooter is an unbeatable early-mid game tower for about a measly 800 bucks, in my opinion way better than for example the sub if placed correctly.
And overdrive (+ primary village) is an absolute moab shredder.

This game is crazy. Bought it on a summer sale with a few other games and I've logged so many hours on this one.
Druid: beats wave 35 perfectly and is number 5 on list. Ninja: has a red go through on round 31 and is number 3. Hmmm
Submarine: does even worse on both rounds
i usualy do a 0 2 2 ice monkey and that is a great idea, try it your self

I just got the game today and I only just unlocked every tower but to start I like Engi, Bucc, and Ninja. These are the towers I like to buy from round 1.
After this, Im searching your channel for tier 1 chimps mode challenge. Hope it exists and if nkt, you should make it so!

How'd he know I flip pancakes with my hands?
So not for nothing, but in the beginning I'm going 2 dart monkeys, then a hero, then a ninja. Next step alchemize and this gives me time to farm. Next a village, a bomb tower and a plasma supermonkey. Once I get there, that is enough to get well into the 70s if everything is upgraded. The first fifth tier I'm looking for is a tack zone, lots of power for the cash. And all this is SJB strategy.

im fairly new to the game and would like to solve challenges by myself without looking them up every time because i dont know what kind of value i can get of my money :)
the subs are so powerful, I beat haunted with only monkey subs.
As a challenge I'd like for you to try the following: you're allowed to only buy one tower per round and can only buy one upgrade for any tower per round. See how far you can get....

...So you're allowed to buy as many towers as you like and upgrade them as often as you like? There are far FAR more rounds than you need towers/upgrades.
what? no. you can only buy one tower per round, and one upgrade for any tower.
One new wave = 1 new tower and one new upgrade (for any tower, not just the one you bought)
@@darthnihilus1608 Again. How often do you get to round 60 with 60 towers with 60 upgrades? There are way more rounds than you need towers (around 4-5 to win 100).

1. Druids are some of the cheapest towers that can be used as a main force for beating chimps mode. Use the 024 ones with Obyn, and eventually get them a MIB village and a couple 4xx Alchemists to buff them, and 6 of them can beat Chimps. You will spend significantly more money on Ninjas to get the same popping power as you do with Driuds. These are my #1 pick.
2. That permafrost only lasts a few seconds after the balloons thaw, not forever. Watch the green balloons, the ones on the lower track are keeping pace with the fresh ones just coming out, but then later on the blue ones were slower, so something weird is going on with this tower.
3. Ninjas are good, but more expensive than druids, so I'd put them farther back on the list.
4. Will have to check out low tier subs. That's surprisingly good.
5. Um no. Just no. Helis are very expensive, and while the one with moab push is great for pre round 60ish, no. If you're going to go and see how far you can get in free play, you will need a support Heli to move your permabrew around, but otherwise this does not belong on the list for any of the reasons you mentioned, but it does because it's got basically infinite range so you can put the heli pad way off in some useless corner and have a decent, but expensive popping power. You can get about 3 011 druids for the price of that one 101 heli, and have roughly the same unbuffed popping power, but of course Obyn and Alchs and Villages will make the druids way stronger than the same will do for that one heli....

Should use a pool so you can put the sub on the first level for a better comparison.

The sub's always been busted. Infinite range potential, one shot ability against (formerly) the strongest bloon in the game, de-camo potential, homing projectiles. The list goes on and that's just in BTD5, it only gets stronger in BTD6.

i think grape shot boats are better than the 0-1-1 sub for early game because they got more range and just better at popping a lot of ballons.
Yeah, a lot of people sleep on boat, bottom path especially. I mean, an 022 boat pops both camos and leads, and then you can go merchantman for extra income, and just keep spamming them.

@@red5t653 Yeah but the reason that people sleep on the bottom path because farms are already a way better option for money, and you gotta sacrifice faster firing and double shot for range and camo detection. But I could see that working on maps like peninsula.

Buccaneer is always my goto starter when water is available; can handle pretty much everything on his own for a good while and has pretty good max tiers for later.

Well the upgrades themselves are very good for the price, and they open up the path to many great upgrades.

That's tier 3, not tier 1. Doesn't count.
However, if we're talking top 5 for other upgrade tiers, considering both cost and overall usefulness:
Tier 2:
1. 022 Wizard (I'm fairly certain this guy solos up to round 40 (assuming decent WoF RNG))
2. 202 Alch (Gotta have that AMD!)
3. 022 Boat (Crazy range, pops camos _and_ leads, and leads into more income!)
4. 202 Sub (Those darts go absolutely _everywhere_. Gonna need a bit of assistance though)
5. 201 Ninja (This guy's cheap. Problem is no lead poppage)
Honorable Mentions: 220 Village, 220 Farm
Tier 3:
1. Ace (Either it won't miss, shreds MOABs, or rains death on anything below. Either way, it's pretty good)
2. 302 Alch (Everyone knows the power of Berserker Brew)
3. 203 Sub (Three guns airbursting anywhere you want? Sign me up!)
4. 302 Sniper (One shotting ceramics decently fast? Yes _please._)
5. 230 Village (It's a little pricey, but letting any tower pop anything is always good)
Tier 4:
1. Sub (Best group pop power ever, or you invalidate round 100, or it just shreds through strong Bloons the normal way)
2. 401/240 Ninja (The former, with Stronger Stim, beats everything until 60. The latter makes it that much easier the deal with Bloons headed your way)
3. 402 Alch (See above)
4. 240 Ace (The other way to invalidate round 100, or the rest of the 90s)
5. 042 Glue (+1 damage to anything glued in a 15 second window? That's a _nice_ boost)

If you go 3-2-0 the heli can pop camo and lead
I mean, by that point you can just get a village with camo, meaning you can get a 301 Heli and still be covered.

Can someone tell me which Headset he's using?
He's not using a headset(which are exclusively trash) he's using what looks like the some cheapy Sony's with a clip on microphone. Notice how there are two cables running down the side, 1 for the mic 1 for the cans (And a white single earbud so he can hear his mic playback).
Why is he always making that clicking sound with his mouth? Like... do you need some water or something lol

A few days ago I was farming the achievement for winning with only support towers, and I have gained a new appreciation for the 003 Engie.
Those upgrades are amazing.
I would place sub above druid and maybe ninja(depending) but idk.

11:17 technically what the monkey knowledge does is give the sub a 4th dart every 4 shots hence the name 4 and 4
