In this video, we will show you step-by-step how to add a contact form to your WordPress website using Elementor and a free plugin. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced WordPress user, this video is designed to make the process of adding a contact form quick and easy.
What is a contact form in WordPress Elementor?
A contact form is a tool on a website that allows visitors to send a message to the website owner or administrator. In the context of WordPress Elementor, a contact form refers to a form that can be added to a WordPress website using the Elementor page builder plugin.
Why would you want to add a contact form to your WordPress website?
Adding a contact form to a WordPress website is a convenient way for visitors to communicate with the website owner or administrator. It can be used for various purposes such as asking questions, providing feedback, making inquiries, and more. By having a contact form on your website, you can simplify the process of receiving messages from visitors, as they do not need to open an email client and manually send an email.
What is Elementor, and how does it relate to WordPress?
Elementor is a popular page builder plugin for WordPress. It allows users to create custom page designs and layouts without having to write any code. Elementor integrates with WordPress, providing a visual interface for creating and customizing pages, posts, and other content on a WordPress website.
Are there any other free contact form plugins available for Elementor?
Yes, there are several free contact form plugins other than "Fluent Forms," which we chose to use for this video because of its versatility. These include; Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, and WPForms. These plugins can be installed from the WordPress plugin repository and integrated with Elementor to create custom contact forms on a website just like Fluent Forms.
Can you customize the design of the contact form in Elementor?
Yes, fluent forms and most free contact form plugins for Elementor provide options to customize the design of the form. This may include changing the colors, font, and other style options. The exact customization options will depend on the plugin you are using, but many plugins provide a range of design options to choose from.

You are concise and to the point with great advice to boot. It took me weeks to find a way to add a contact section to my one-page website. And without listening to 30 minutes of fluff. Thank you, thank you!
perfect straight to the point video, excellent!
Thank you friend. Happy to help. Out of curiosity, what kind of website are you working on?
Great video super straight forward and easy!!! My contact form hasn’t been functional for about 2 months because I had so much anxiety around short codes and widgets. Every time I tried to fix it the form still wouldn’t work, until now !! Thanks so much !! This is super vital to my cleaning business. Appreciate all of your help 💙💙💙👌🏽🌟

Happy to help! Glad you found it useful. Out of curiosity, what kind of website are you working on? P.S. cool red background, really pops
Thumbs Up Budy.
I like how you keep it brief and had hoped to find a simple way to do this task. Unlike so many other YT people who try to explain how to do what should be a simple task.
Alas when I go the Contact page I created in Elementor and go to Elements the Fluent Forms icon is not there.
It does appear that I've gone wrong somewhere.
When I view Fluent Forms in my dashboard it does appear that I have completed the process. Which brings me to the question. We are told to save the short code but nowhere in your presentation does it show where to enter the short code?
Really happy to hear the feedback. Very late response, sorry. Have you found your solution, and out of curiosity, what kind of website are you working on?
Very benefical
Really happy to hear that. Thank you friend. Happy to help. Out of curiosity, what kind of website are you working on?
Hi there, I wanted to express my gratitude for your assistance. Thanks to the video tutorial, my contact form is now functioning just as I had hoped. However, I'm currently seeking guidance on how to efficiently respond to those who reach out to me through the form. While I could manually copy their emails and reply individually, I'd prefer a method that ensures my users receive responses directly from the same platform they initially contacted. Any suggestions on achieving this seamless communication process would be greatly appreciated. Thank you once again for your help!
Does this also send the filled in forms to your email or sends out some kind of notification to alert me there's been a response?
thanks man
Hey no problem man. Happy to help. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of website are you working on?
@@aleksmularzchannel it was related to head/smoke shop.
My only question is where do you put the company email so the form goes to the correct person if you do not have any type of lead generator installed?
You don't need to. On the left side of your WordPress dashboard, you will see the fluent form plugin. then in the subheading, there will be a tab called "Entries". That will be your inbox.
@@ag-blueprint4017 Awesome thanks!
@@ag-blueprint4017but there is no way to connect it to official email? Like to my gmail? If so, i just wasted 2 hours 😵
Hi, thank you for the nice content!
How can I configure the email where I want the message to go?! Thank you in advance
So if I now fill in the form with my email and a short message, will I actually receive it? How? Do I need to include a plugin?
Hey Albert, sorry for the late response. There should be a section called "entries" on the fluent form. Did you manage to find a solution to this?
@@aleksmularzchannel yeah, sorted it out thxs
How do I receive the information that people will type in the form. Do I have to connect an email (I use hostinger as a hosting website)
Thanks for sharing brother.. but where can I add my email so that the response on the forms go to my email?
I'm looking for the same info as you. Did y😮 you find an answer?
I'm looking for the same. Did you find out? 🙂
depends on what form you are using, if you are using a gravity form you need to add a smtp plugin
@@micaellaaustria3199 Exactly how do you send this to email?
literally looked into more than 15 videos and nothing worked with Contact Form 7. Thankkkk you so much for your help.
I'm so happy to hear that. Thank you friend. Happy to help. Out of curiosity, what kind of website are you working on?
Very concise... yes Too concise. The most important stuff is skipped. how do you send to email
haha. yes there are some steps skipped for sure. Sorry for late response, I'd be happy to explain it to you. Did you manage to find a solution?
Hey can you tell me after filling the form where did the message go
How can i see the message
Yes. on the left side of your wordpress dashboard, you will see the fluent form plugin. then in the subheading there will be a tab called "submissions"
@@aleksmularzchannel yea thanks for answering and plz make more content on WordPress
anytime man. Is there anything in particular you would like to see?@@sahilpalandurka7251
@@aleksmularzchannel i would like to see a deatil video on how to make WordPress website using elemator and other tools
I will wait for this tutorial
Have a nice day 😃😃
@@aleksmularzchannel The problem is... it doesnt go anywhere. How do you direct to email?
If I got everything right, I can't connect this form to my official email but have to go to entries every time to see messages? Please tell me this is not the case 😭
I wasted so many time to perfect it just to relize it afterwards
Before you lose time on design, just to let all know, you can't connect this form to your official email like gmail or some else... So if you don't want to check your entries on dashboard all the time find some other plugin...
has a paid version to add simple thing like phone, no good
I figured out a way around that part. Create a name line and change to telephone number !!!
FF doesn't appear to me in elementor
I tired testing out to see if it works , the set up is complete and all but when checking to receive email , I never get it in my inbox, did I miss a step?
