Jevil got obsessed over for like 2 years until Chapter 2 came out, Spamton’s newer. First it was sans, then Jevil, then Spamton. Whenever the next one comes out, the previous one gets forgotten.
I hope I'm not looking too much into it, but the small sad bits of Jevil seeming lonely during the soft spoken bits of his theme is probably the best thing I've seen all year given how prevalent "Spamton Lore" has been since Chapter 2. Not to say those aren't all good as well, but Jevil was written off as pretty surface level by comparison which isn't the case. So thank you from someone who loves the little gremlin
yeah, thanks so much!! i actually structured the remix to better fit an idealized version of his vague origins as told by seam - the first "verse" is more or less a recreation of the og song (jevil in his current maddened state), the second "verse" kicks off as a bit-more-chaotic version of the first's opening (to illustrate jevil's inevitable loop back round to insanity) and the rest of the arrangement was designed to encompass jevil's past, with a less insane jevil represented by the casual muttering, before being thrust into a promise of hope and power when he meets (very probably) gaster (on the carousel, when the mix softens but gradually breaks into a more and more uplifting version of itself), before gaster straight dips, cutting the song off entirely, and then eventually leading back into a final chaotic ensemble, trailing off with a rendition of dialtone with jevil's cackles replacing the phone ringing! also gaster's theme is fucking everywhere in this if you can find it haha, even with the same chrono trigger soundfont piano used in the og track
What’s weird to me is that in terms of ‘lore’ I’m pretty sure they both have similar amounts of it. Jevil’s lore isn’t super deep or hard to understand, and Spamtons is pretty much the same. Really, the only difference between the two is we got more screen time with Spamton. Which, I guess does make a big difference in some ways, but still. People really trashing’ on Jevil now because of it.
Jevil's design here kinda gives me the same uncanny vibes as some old children's stop motion show, like something from a show like Noddy's Toyland Adventures. Awesome remix btw
I thought the polygon parts made me imagine it as if deltarune was made in a n64 style, and seeing jevil spin in those sections were so goddamn adorable
I really like this remix you have made for Jevil's battle theme. I have always got magical circus vibes from him. But I also like how some segments are a reference to some of the rather older game styles. And the way he dances looks so uncanny and unnatural, and it honestly looks like claymation. It actually works very well for him.

OH MAN, This made me all tingly, tingly! I haven't heard such a good "The World Revolving" remix in a long time, and you captured the essence of chaos perfectly, perfectly! It just makes me want to spin around in my chair and forget about the world, yet sit down and reflect on past mistakes, or even get lost in my brain at the exact same time!
oh wow, you included the one leitmotif toby reused for circus in the beginning. for people who don't know, the leitmotif was first used in Temmie Chang's Dwellers of the Mountain's Forest animation. other than that, the remix is just as good as the nyctba one you did, and i feel that i should point out that the colors used for text on the credits in the visualizer portion look a lot like spamton's eye's colors. dunno if that was intentional, but if it was, that's pretty cool. also the low poly stuff with the carousel is good too. love the stuff toaster bath bombs did. oh, also, the dialtone at the end with phone rings replaced with jevil's laughs was a good touch too. also uh sorry if this looks messy, i'm not really that good at writing down stuff that makes much sense in english, and i was also writing this down as i was watching the vid, so this is like messier that it needs to be lmao.

This goes unbelievably hard and I LOVE it! My only gripe is the sound is maybe a touch busy, in a way. If we had certain parts a little quieter than others and maybe just a bit more bass, then it would be perfect. That isn’t to say it isn't AMAZING because it is! Well done!! 🎉❤
