- Which is the cutest for you? I had been wanting to make a video whispering in a lot of languages. Someone told me that she would be happy to hear "cat" in a lot of languages, so I tried it. I said "cat" in languages for which I received help and for languages I already knew. So, if your language isn't in this video, it's that nobody has helped for your language :(
Anyway, I would like to thanks everyone who helped for this project! Thanks a lot! Making such a video is a tremendous amount of work and I'm glad you were part of the project and took the time to record and send me an audio file for your language.

I was finally able to make the cat video!!! Thanks a lot for your help. Without you, I couldn't have made it. Also, sorry for not replying to everyone, I received so many messages that I didn't have the time to say thank you to you all. I'll do it slowly one by one.
Also, a few words about the video. My pronunciation might be wrong as I sometimes mix languages. Sometimes, you'll see a language appears twice. That's because I remember there is another way to say cat or because I remember "kitten" halfway. I decided most of the time to not edit the position where the word appears. So, you might find gatto and then later gattino for Italian for example.
I didn't remember that making this kind of video was such an enormous amount of work to say the truth. I was thinking: OK, that's just one word, I'll be able to manage it easily. But gathering all the words, recording, people's names, practice, record, edit, including the writing in the video, checking, listening, wondering about if what I said was right or wrong or what was the language I had said something, looking on the Internet in order to find what was the language... All in all, I think I spent about 20 or 25 hours on this video, maybe more. BUT I'm happy!!! Thank you again! :))

It's still impressive how you did this i can't eaven study french whitout getting bored and you learned a lot of leanguages and now you have a video whit 50 leangauges!(it's because in Italy i have to study english,french and italian abivously, but in last year we also have the option to study Latin...italian school is crazy

In Polish we say also "kitku", but it's not official, something similar to "kotek", very nice ;)

I'm also from Poland, sounds like a regional dialect maybe. Where I'm from we also sometimes say "Klakier". It is a character from a popular cartoon but everyone i know understand that it means cat

Hiii Pierre!! The one sounds similar to mandarin 貓 is actually Cantonese, it's very similar to mandarin (similar character but different pronunciation)

I could see you struggling a bit with the Icelandic "ö" 😅 It's actually impressive that you can distinguish the sound and make it yourself! It's a difficult sound to make when you didn't grow up using it. Thanks for including my language!
From what I know about Icelandic, it would be one of the most difficult language to pronounce for me as I'm not used at all to the sounds of it :D But I like it, haha
