It is truly incredible all of the steps in planting that you can make in one pass through the field. It's nothing short of amazing how it's done and also how incredible your videos provide the content for all of us. The beds left after the planting process are perfect. I will be along for the harvest and look forward to that process too. Thanks for sharing!
What I find amazing about this channel is not the fact that the video quality is outstanding, or that the equipment is state of the art, I am speechless at how amazing the land is. Every acre looks carefully laid out and planned for. The fields look perfectly shaped, the trees look as though they were planned for using AutoCAD. Not totally familiar with all the locations, but it looks like heaven on earth.
+Charel Egthuysen Er rijden hier in de buurt zelfs een aantal, de meeste bij tulpenboeren die ze gebruiken bij het planten. Op mijn kanaal kan je er filmpjes van vinden :-)
Potatoes love sandy soil, as many potatoes that are eaten worldwide you really don't see many farmers growing them. Nothing but corn and soybeans where I live. It's funny that after watching this I am worried about whether that one potatoe was re-planted. :)
Ну всё на высоте, всё сделано с умом. Я вспоминаю, как я сам сажал картошку с 1995 по 2003 годы, так это как небо и земля, остаётся только восхищаться продуманным умам конструкторов.
+Agrarprofi - Agriculture It depends much on the of the condition soil, size of the field and how often you need the fill the bunker. If you are planting more or less potatoes on a meter. And as you can see the ground is cultivated before planting in a separate pass, if the circumstances are good you can plant without doing this. I think 1/1.5ha per hour is good for this combination. On the dams they spray liquid fertilizer ;-)
looked like he was working alone, does that mean he drives one tractor to the field, then walk back to the farm to get the next and same for that third one? I guess it seemed to be close enought though.
+AGamingMonster I think this specific tractor is used because of its tracks: the weight of the machine is distributed over a much bigger surface area in contrast to a classic 4 (or more) wheels tractor, hence the terrain will be less compacted with all the beneficial effects. At the end, even if the field isn't surprisingly big, this tractor is still ideal for this job.
Ok but for me it's little waste of money because that tractor cost about 500,000 Euro in my country... *sorry for mistakes i'm not from country where you speak English...

+Andreas Beier Danke!
+Tractorspotter why does the farmer plant ever other row?
+Ben Burrows because it is easier to turn the tractor. once he has done a number of rows he will plant the empty rows in between the others.
+Bart Grendelman that makes a lot more sense, thank you
This is just beautiful. Красота !!!

+Tractorspotter Do You know how many distance is between the potatos in a row? Not between the rows, in one row :D
+Agrarprofi - Agriculture I don't know exactly what distance was here, but it would somewhere between 25 and 45cm +/-
+Tractorspotter ah okay. We seed with 38cm distance :) In which month was it recorded?

How many potatoes can you expect to get for every potato planted?
5-10 potatoes

+William Copp GPS you know!?;)
Такую бы машину в Беларусь, были бы картошечной империей! :)
Really interesting mashines but for me using so big tractor on fields like those doesn;t make sense. ;)

+AGamingMonster im quite sure this isnt the only field he owns mate... and its not big at all most likely in the 230hp range which isnt very big
Ok but for me it's little waste of money
because that tractor cost about 500,000 Euro in my country... *sorry for mistakes i'm not from country where you speak English...
no its not XD its worth like 180k mate
