Love your videos. You taught me more about the ins and outs of my tab than the sales place even knew.

The wife and I stayed at CB, Whale-mart, and a few others for 3 winters down south. Woke up, had breakfast and off we went

I really like all of your videos. I was wondering, how often do you go out camping?

I appreciate all your expertise that you pass on, very helpful to newbies as myself! We are all from Michigan on our way to WV to camp in the mountains. I would like to share an unfortunate experience that I and 3 others went thru at a Cracker Barrel in Columbus Ohio. The four of us 2 in each car, one mini van pulling a small travel trailer and the 2nd car hauling 2 bikes parked in back of restaurant where it was designated for RV parking. We went in to eat dinner late afternoon, l went back to car to get my iPad so we can look at map and decide how much further we would go then stop for the night. So now all 4 of us are leaving Cracker Barrel and heading back to our vehicles that were parked in the back, only to find both our vehicles rear doors behind the drivers door windows smashed out and damage to window frame, as they did a smash and grab. Took what ever they could reach and grab with out opening the door so no alarms went off on either vehicle. Called police but they were to busy to come out and take report. They called us back 2 hours later to take report over phone! Meanwhile I went into Cracker Barrel to talk to manager he came out with broom and dust pan to help clean up broken glass, only to find out there are no cameras 📷 in back where RV’s are designated to park! Also he informed us that this happens all the time there! This experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth! No Cameras! Happens all the time! And police don’t come out! Makes me wonder if this is an Inside Job there at this particular Cracker Barrel!!! 😢

That is horrible! I am so sorry that happened to you. You raise a good point about leaving your camper and car behind CB.

Just discovered your channel. Don’t have my first travel trailer (Meerkat) yet, but your information is extremely helpful.

Jeep Grand Cberokee Trailhawk - if you go with Jeep bear in mind that tow capacity varies by trim levels.

Does that kind of trailer lower mpg and does it take toll on engine or transmission I want to begin but am worried about cars longevity

You should expect significantly lower gas mileage when you tow any trailer. The T@b is lighter than many trailers so not as as much of a hit. It is important that you have have a proper tow vehicle to avoid adamant to your vehicle. I recommend a vehicle than can tow 40-60% more than the the weight of the trailer you intend to tow.

@@JennGroverPhotography Jenn, your recommendation you stated in regards to pulling a trailer , that your tow vehicle should be able to tow 40 - 60% more than the weight of the trailer you intend to pull, makes so much sense the way you put it. It just helped me to put this weight matter in perspective, with a better understanding. Thank you for all your expertise. So I’m considering a Travel trailer that has a Total Gross Dry Weight of 2150 lbs and a GAWR of 3000 lbs and my tow vehicle is rated for towing 4500 lbs , so I believe this falls into the formula you recommended?

Love your videos....but please, please, please don’t use the door bell sound effect when you’re counting items off. Dogs go nuts over that sound and start barking
