- This video is about how I replaced my AD-IS air dryer. Maintenance is key in keeping these big trucks running. Sometimes you got to get your hands dirty so you're not giving all your money away to a shop.
Great job!!! Very impressive. You know I love your truck Willie, looks like you're doing her right buddy. God is good.
@ 4:56 That electrical connector is your "air dryer heater" that helps keep the water/air from freezing in the winter.
Thanks for the video.
Blessed.......Awesome Brother :)
I should have said that when I found out about it. Thanks for putting that out there Tim. I appreciate it. God Bless

Nice that you came fo your own repair. Save lots of money
Exactly. Every dollar saved is another dollar to help my business grow
Hey thank you!
I'm stressing over,but studying your video I think I can I think I can
My air dryer priced at $611.00.
I want to wait it out for cheaper, but find it part sent the wrong unload valve...
It's a mess by my air dryer...
I learned that if I take the top line off my compressor if will have a strong flow of air once I start her up......she did...so I wanted change the filter, but it's been on there so long that it's stuck, that filter beat me today, the only reason I stopped was because it start raining, and before then I was low on vitamin D my fingers started locking up.
So I rebuild my air brake valve,I test my compressor,it's good.i couldn't here a leak before starting all those checks.
Tried getting under a trailer and all of my bags deflated
Primary buid air ok secondary was real slow, took my foot off the peddle,it would began to fall (air pressure).......
Your thoughts please 🙏
Good save..You can also bypass the air dryer..In a pinch..To enable you to get to a place to get a new replacement air dryer..Thank you for the video..Have a blessed day..

Good job bro. !! Man my mechanic skills are at a zero bro 😂 but I’m blessed to have some good mechanics that ain’t going to rape me back home in Miami be safe brother
Thank you. They are out there. Take care
I have three trucks with the same air dryer. They all usually fail once a year. I figured out If air is not coming out of the ports all you have to do is back off the pressure valves underneath the dryer one turn to get air to come out. (Even though it says not to)
Right on. The one I replaced was new. I’m going to replace the filter to see it last longer. It only cost about $65
@@TattleKlatch always replace the filter every year. But try backing off the pressure valves on bottom to get air to come out of the ports.

Can you still have a California Cdl and still be lease on the Landstar I plan on coming over
Yep. You just have to have a def truck. That’s 2013 and up
Good job driver. Make sure those lines arent rubbing the frame.
Thank you. I have an open rubber tube glued on the frame rails to prevent chafing. I have a few to replace. Good looking out though.

Hey Willie D I like to know how did giltzner treat you if y you have time
What’s up Tony. They treated me fine man. I had a great dispatcher. His name was Shane. I had another dispatcher first but things didn’t work out between us. Other than that everything was great. The people there were real easy-going and easy to work with. The folks in the shop we’re great to work with. Its a good company
