    To be fair, it's illegal to have interactions with these animals, even if they're peaceful ones.

      Not interacting, it is illegal to TOUCH the Quokkas which is a 50 dollar fine. You can still interact with them simply by saying hello or taking a photo.

      @@kyrkosekaterinaris1328 Because 1. They can retaliate if they feel threatened. And 2. Human fingers are usually filthy and it can transmit diseases to the Quokkas.

    They’re protected and big fines for touching them and interacting with them. So you post a 4 minute video of just that? WTF?

      The comments before yours said it's a $50 fine. Also, we don't know if the property they're on in this video is a rescue, etc. Not enough info for a logical deduction.
