I've been a wedding planner on the go so much..I'm now 59 with chronic pain so I'm at home and I love your ideas...my brain used to be on fire like yours 😀.. I can feel you and how much you think about how to do so many things...you have great ideas and are such a beautiful soul.... You care deeply about your craft...all your ginger bread guys are so cute.... I stuffed the dollar tree ginger man also stuffed him but just glued the edges then stuffed paper towel holder up in between his legs..made a baker's hat and stuffed it and glued it sideways...then decorated him and put snow stuffs on bottom of paper towel holder along with Christmas decor .just an idea for you..THANX for all your WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL IDEAS!!!

The gingerbread house & men are adorable
The candy pieces, ive been doing for years, but with papertowel or tissue rolls. I love the size of the swim noodle. At the lake, we call them swim noodles, and after it storms, you can find them up in the sloughs!! 😁 The mugs are fabulous!!! I used to gift wrap empty boxes to put under my tree at my former office, until a lady brought her grandkids in and allowed them to stomp them in the floor. Seeing them do this, the guy next door felt so bad for me, he came in and cleaned it up.
I’ve watched you from the start. I remember how humble you were when you reached a million subscribers. I think you worked very hard for this accomplishment. I know I don’t really mean a lot to you, but I want you to know how proud I am of you. You really persevered and put yourself out there. Something I can’t do. I wish I could. You are so talented. You and my daughters remind me of each other. They may not be as talented, but they always achieve their goals. A compliment to all of you. I know I’m not your mom or family, but I’m still proud of you. Tell your mama she raised a great daughter.
I love everything you do I have one little tip instead of using the 5 rags for under your tree my mom always used a white fitted sheet and wrapped it around the bottom of the tree it does a good job I can't wait for more of your videos you're amazing you give me so much inspiration

As someone who works for dollar tree I can understand why people might say, “well that’s not all items from DT”! As I watched I saw quite a few different things might be nearly impossible to get your hands on at DT. Also, if the majority of things from DT aren’t as “nice looking or cost effective” as places such as Home Depot, etc, it can feel less like a true DT DIY. We love these videos bc of the “high end” outcome of items from DT. I def appreciate the hard work you put into this. I just wanted to give some honest feedback from a person who loves the channel and isn’t a consistent crafter so I personally wouldn’t always have certain things in my arsenal!

You always come up with some of the most creative projects! My mother was very creative also, (she was always a home room mother as we used to call them) and always doing awesome things for our class rooms when we were younger and the envy of all the other moms!

I've diy and used the hobby lobby advent calendar for years now! I used bottle brush trees on top for a winter scene. I suggest if you have more than two kids, make a calendar for each if you can. The drawers are small so you can't fit more than one or two candies in.
I also definitely suggest checking thrift stores for trees if you want extra trees. I just found a high end pencil tree at the thrift store for $10!
