"here is the happy crew waiting for Jane Fonda" !! priceless !!
WOW! Amazing Man, humble, honest, and "Balls of Steel"!! Well done thank you 👀👍👍
Hey...there's 'my' airplane...the A-3.! I was an AE3 ( Aviation Electrician's Mate , P.O. 3rd class ) in VAQ-33 based at N.A.S. Norfolk, Va. 1971-75. I became a 'plane captain' ( kinda like a Crew Chief in the Air Force ), for our A-3's. I loved those 'Whales'. We had 4 of them and each one had it's own personality and quirks. Our's were designated ERA-3B because they were full of ECM gear. They had a drag chute that was deployed upon landing ( we never deployed aboard ship ), and the pilots always knew when I had packed the chute because it opened up very quickly and they could really feel it 'pop'. I took the responsibility of "my" planes very seriously. Today, the A-3's are retired to the bone yard...much like myself..LOL..!!
Hi, it was great hearing Bob Johnson talk. He mentioned that he could give a whole talk about the time he was with the Vigilante. Please ask him to give this talk coz I'd love to hear more about the Vigilante. Regard

Good video. Great stories
That was neat
The A6 is one of my top favs its a killer. Intruder
The first pilot to land a jet on an aircraft carrier was a Scotsman called Eric (Winkle) Brown Royal Navy
thanks for sharing but peeked my interest about the fits that WAVE gave you, what a way to set a hook, never met a navy female that was a specialist in defusing a situation. lets leave it at that.
I noticed that little WAV in the picture at on the right at 20:25. What sort of "fits" did she give you? An ABH would like to know.
Am too young but can I come on here? I'm only 63?
Thank you all for your service. I know that there are good kids out there nowadays, but more and more I fear that they lack good role models in sufficient numbers....too much self centeredness and selfishness as a culture, all about feelings and "me" and selfies and staring at phones and silly videos. Too many distractions, too much indulgence. Again, not all, but it still bothers me a lot to see/hear the direction that we seem to be headed...
You almost killed yourself and crew in that storm.
dks13827 that wasn't the smartest thing but he is happy he did it! Those planes can sustain a lot of abuse, but never do that in a light GA aircraft or an airliner.
