I love those 1932 Ford hot rods!!! It seems totally cool man!!! Earl Slick is also playing old school blues rock style licks!!! It just sounds so appropriate!☺😉☺😉😄😉☺😉☺😁😁😊
I haven't bought any of these guitars yet, but they have been on my mind for a while. They looks awesome, sound good, and affordable... I might start a slick collection soon 😁
Got my sl60 on friday. Played a gig with it out of the box. Action is a little high, but played and sounded GREAT! No problem with any of the frets. No buzzes or rattles. It can clean up well, but it is a mean S.O.B. .with attitude! I got a pretty amazing SRV tone out of it, too!
Some people have stated that the bodies are extremely rough to the point that you could cut your hand on it. Mine came super silky smooth. People have also said you can;t change a string without removing the bridge. Nonsense! I broke a string and had absolutely no frickin' problem at all.
Oh yeah, I also put myself on a wait list for a sl57 that is out of stock. Can't say it enough. I LOVE my sl60! It is unfortunate that there is not too much info or reviews about Slick Guitars out there. But then again that may be keeping the prices down.... At these prices and quality I might get one of each...
Maybe after it's your playing on many million albums sold and countless arena tours you can put out a pickup demo for your very inexpensive line of guitars that actually do generally sound great and some no name low rent trogladyte boor can bawl TUNE THAT THING! at you from the cheap seats. Really. Let me know when it happens. Whats that? David Bowie not ringin your phone off the hook? And tather than talkomg in millions of records sold, you haven't even broken double digits yet... Yeah, thought so. Dick.

To sum it up... I had such a good experience. I promptly came home after the gig and ordered a sl50 tele.
