Covering new Masters Of the Universe Trailer 2026. New Live Action He-Man Movie, Masters of the Universe is an upcoming American sword and sorcery film based on Mattel's franchise of the same name. The film serves as a reboot and standalone prequel to the 1987 film of the same name, directed by Travis Knight, from a script by Chris Butler, Aaron and Adam Nee, and Dave Callaham. It stars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam / He-Man, who returns to his home planet Eternia to save it from the evil forces of Skeletor, played by Jared Leto. Camila Mendes, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Morena Baccarin, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Charlotte Riley, and Idris Elba also star.

I was born in India in the '80s, and this brings back so many memories. Back then, TVs and VCRs were a luxury, but my dad actually owned a video library! He used to travel to Singapore and bring back Western movies and He-Man cassettes. It was years before those shows eventually made it to national TV.

His mother the queen is from earth. She was a stranded astronaut that crash landed in Eternia. It's in the original cartoon.
So are Evilyn and Beastman. She was the other scientist and he was the handler for an animal they brought.

I assume they either aren't doing him in the first movie, or hiding him for later trailers.
Why is Orko?
My thought was that the King and Queen needed a magic-user (wizard, witch, sorceress, vizier, etc.) whether competent or inept, so Skeletor wouldn't use magic to take over the palace and city.
I remember being so hyped for the 80’s He-Man movie because Orko was my favorite character, but instead we got Gwildor as a replacement.

I don't recall you mentioning Orko.. do we think he will appear in this movie. It would disappointing if they left him out. As I understand it in the 80s live action movie they were unable to bring orko to the big screen so came up with the idea of Gwildor as a replacement. I would feel disappointed that yet again he will not appear in live action especially that there is the technology to do so now.

mattel big jim line on shelves in the backgound of the toy store - cute homage to the 1976 big jim tiger that was repurposed as battle cat in 1982 & panthor in 1983.
i hope this succeeds and Mattel makes lots of money because i want to see at least 5 movies .... the universe is vast and lots of cannon could be used. thats my 52 year old self and my 10 year old shelf hoping with everything crossed.

This is the second video you did and you finally mentioned big jim. But you forgot to mention the relevance. The Big Jim toy line was where the battle cat toy originally came from. It was appropriately size for Big Jim but oversized for He-Man so he could ride on him

Beautiful video. That's the movie I'm most looking forward to seeing very much & been waiting for a very long time for this accurate version of the film. There is an ongoing theory about Orko's brief appearance in the film. That he is the person that sends Adam the message on his phone telling him, he found his sword. That does make sense that he's a guardian angel on Eternia, watching over Adam. As for his actual appearance, still wondering how that will look like. Yes, I've heard about the comics of Tella, & the appearance of Granamyr in it. Basically, explaining what happened on Eternia during Adam's absence. I didn't know that, about Tikor's story as he was based on Conan. I hope we'll get a 2nd trailer having both Battlecat & Orko, It looks like they're saving Orko's reveal for the movie. As for She-Ra, I don't think she nor Hordak will appear in the movie. Probably an end credit scene, & yes Dolph Laundren will have a cameo in the film. Can't wait to see more for this movie, & the new He-Man game the pearl of destruction is releasing on He-Man day on April 28th. I didn't like Kevin Smith's version of He-Man. But I like very much Mike Young's 2002 cartoon version. & was nice you included Serpos in your video. I like your explanation of Evil Lynn's motive, why she always craves power from Skeletor & I do hope they'll explain that in the movie. Can't wait for more He-Man videos ⚡️💪💖😊👍

At Power-Con 2012 panel, the 2002 show creators confirmed that Fisto as dad was "only a red herring".
Seemingly the only implication was, that Fisto had a memory loss. And that the unnamed warrior who was with the Sorceress, also couldn't remember his name. But the animation models are completely different, the unnamed warrior had a different skin-tone, eyes, eyebrows, and no giant hand. We clearly see its normal sized hand, only in bandages. Fisto is said to have been born with the gigantic fist in the 2002 series.

It amazes me how accurate most of the characters are and then they go but Evil Lynn in all black (which I am not complaining because I love black on anyone) but her crown and crystal orb staff looks all wrong, well I say wrong but really it is just the Orb part looking like it is filled with purple glitter. BTW Serpos is only in the anime version of the He-Man. In other forms Skeletor created Snake Mountain using golden disc and in another version it is just a natural looking rock that Hordak turned into a base and Skeletor just became its ruler when Hordak bailed with Adora. I never really liked the fact that Snake Moutain was the former god Serpos and the Snake Mens former lair. I mean not everything Snake themed in Eternia belongs to the Snake Men.
All I wanna know is where's Ram Man???

I believe I heard that in an early draft of the 80s cartoon, Evilyn, Beastman, and Tricylops were all going to be from earth like Marlana, and over time they changed by being on Eternia. Given how they are changing the canon for the movie, that might be a concept they might to bring back. 🤔 It would tie Eternia to Earth more, and give Marlana more personal connection to some of the villains. Just like Randor is connected to Skeletor.

I hope they do not mess up the line like they did in the first movie. Dulphy raised the sword and was like "I have the power!" and that was it. When Adam is supposed to say "By the power of grayskull." Then he says he has the power and transforsm Cringer into Battlecat. However by the look of the trailer they are messing this up the same way they messed up the Havoc Staff and it's stupid crooked looking bs form. Hope He-Man breaks that dam thing and we get a new Havoc Staff or a repaired one in the second movie.
They never get stuff like this right when it comes too films but this is definitely different 😂
