Wanting Axl Rose to sing like the 80s and 90s is crazy but for the love of God he could take care of himself a little more and be a little better if he sang like the houston show in 2016 that would be wonderful and no fan could complain about his performance...
The only guy I can think of who can pull off singing the old songs with quality today, is James Hetfield. His voice has changed dramatically over the decades but he can still sing all the early songs and it works very well for live shows.
