Those songs were recorded like in 92' 93 when he was like 12 or 13 years old. Here he's damn near 16.His voice was changing by the time the single candy rain came out. They lip synced a lot until he was able to perfect his harmony with his deeper voice.Like Mike J. and Ralph T. that's why in later performances they were able to cut the music down at the end and harmonize.
@@Didddduso wrong. The whole album was recorded in summer 94 at age 14. Then the single dropped Nov. ‘94. Jase started going thru puberty early ‘95. By the time the song blew up, he was in mid-voice changes
What's up with the audience? They're not supporting them at all, I'm tight cause them boys talented and they deserved better treatment, I would've been up right there with them#SFR
And this is why they fell off, jase went thru puberty too early into their career , I knew they all wished he stayed a kid forever, after candy rain puberty hit him HARD 🥺 Wish they got famous when he was younger I feel bad for him , same with Michael Jackson and Ralph .. They all hit puberty and never sounded the same again, Michael the only one who blew up big asf not just for his vocals cuz he knew he needed more, his dancing made him the greatest ever, sorry for the rant lmao I’m chopped
You forgot to add Stevie wonder in there too.... he grew up so fast that by 14 he sounded like an adult. Michael actual retained somewhat of a high voice but not like his boy soprano. Consider that Ralph tresvant was 14 already and still had his boy soprano when candy girl came out, his voice actually took the longest to change. He still sounded high pitch on cool it now and hadn't completed his change until the heartbreak album...now today I will say he lost his upper range. Tevin Campbell is another notable one who's voice quickly changed as well as the lead singer of hi 5. As far as boy sopranos I'd say Frankie lymon is the 🐐 .
One of the best groups from that Era. Problem was that once you fallout with heavy d nobody gonna mess with you he was one of the most likeable guy in entertainment not just music that were this group got messed over.
My man was going through puberty on stage 😂 still one ☝️ of my all time favorite groups
Do they need a biopic?
His voice was getting deeper 😩😩😩

Those were the original vocals of the young lead singer, they recorded them nearly a year before his voice change.
