I honestly like/agree with all your pairings. And I’ve never been one to work with more than one deck at a time. I think what I really appreciated here was that you were able to articulate why a deck needed a pairing and why those pairings worked. I spent the whole time nodding and saying “Yep, I get that”, which was quite fun. 😊 My favourites were Drowning World with La Corte for the ace triptych effect (Trionfi for one-on-one), Mermaid with Outgrow Yourself (big surprise! I happen to have OY and Autonomic, so I might give that a try myself. And round decks, yeah, I have a few I like but they always feel a bit awkward), New Choice with Gentle Thrills (gotcha on those borders), Badgers Forest with Animal Lords (I like the way they talk to each other), and 100 Ink Animals with Anima Mundi (for the same reason). Interesting and inspiring video. 👍

Oooh Drowning World and La Corte are so good together. I only have the latter (though I do have Poker Deck of the Drowning World), and the only "spreads" I do with it are horizontal reading like a kind of scene, for sure. Anima Mundi is a long time favourite. I don't tend to use multiple tarots in one spread, but I am increasingly thinking about t4t😃pairings as I've been leaving out my moon phase reading (new, quarter, full, last quarter) for the week or so until the next one so I can revisit it / think on it, so then whatever I'm using for my daily draws or other readings in the meantime are on my reading table at the same time and I want them to "go" even though they're not being read together per se.
Ooh pairing decks with one you've left out, that's actually a really neat idea! I don't do a lot of readings with multiple decks but I like t4t combos because I have an easier time seeing connections between the cards. Obviously if there's two of the same card that's a big one but multiple courts, "straights" (cards in numerical order), anything like that is fun too. It'd be really cool to see what cards from a moon phase reading come up multiple times throughout the week
You are just tormenting me when you keep showing the Blind the Sun tarot! I’m still searching for it and contacted the creator to see if she had a copy. She hasn’t but has kindly agreed to post an ‘ISO’ on her instagram. But if i do manage to find it, i’m now going to have to get the ‘outgrow yourself’ oracle to pair it with!! x
