That leatherman mini tool rocks! I don't think I've ever seen one before. That 0561 is a beast of a blade. Love the machined handle pattern on that bad boy. Great stuff as always!
Thank you! The Mini Tool is super-close to my perfect multitool, were it not for the lack of a phillips driver. Even so, it's a great choice and the small size means it fits almost anywhere a P4 or Style PS would, which is awesome. And yeah, the 0561 is a monster. I also love the machined scales. Comfortable and sleek, and plenty of grip. One of my favorite knives of the past year or so!
I have 7 Ti lights and 4 copper. The one I use the most is this one you use. I believe max L are around 500? I charge the tail cap up and put next to the bed. Good light! Like the blade as well. Keep one in my Swiss Army bag… great vid...
The reason why the Uncle Ben's Tweezers fall out is if they get bent and don't sit in the holder correctly or apply enough pressure. This is not common with the regular stainless version but can happen. This was a significant problem with the titanium version which is why that set no longer sits on my keys but in my M7 Toolet. The titanium version is much softer than the stainless version so it constantly gets deformed, even just using it. I have both versions but keep the stainless versions in my other kits and haven't gotten around to getting another stainless one.
I edc the same flashlight and field notes as well. It's not as durable as I wanted though. The cover got soft and ripped from the humidity in my pocket. Maybe I'll try the expedition edition.
Right on! I'm still using this wallet and it's holding up nicely with just a little fraying at some of the edges. This can be mitigated over time with a lighter. Thanks very much for watching!
Haha, thanks! You know what's crazy? Despite my EDC being what I consider to be fairly tame and easy to carry, I often get comments about how ridiculous and over-the-top it is! I also get nailed when I have more than one knife showing in the video screenshot; even though I always mention that I only carry one dedicated knife. You can't please 'em all, I guess. Have a great holiday, friend!
I should start carrying a little notebook in my other back pocket. I wish I could find a SMALL prybar/bottleopener, but haven't been able to find anything I like (like the one you have).
Great EDC! I was considering buying a Chris Reeve small sebenza Insingo. I can't choose between the carbon fiber scale or the micarta version. What are your thoughts on those two versions?? Which one would you chosoe? Thanks in advance!
Thanks, Ivan! If I were to choose between those two versions I'd probably pick the carbon fiber since it maintains the original dimensions of the flat scales... the micarta inlays are raised and I feel like that sort of changes the "vibe" of the original design. Both are beautiful and will serve you well, whichever you choose!
So I bought that bike master link because I thought it was a nice little touch for a keychain, how did you get yours so stay open? Meaning when I put the outer clip on, the other figure 8 looking link falls over to the sealed side. I see yours doesn't do that, if you can help out how you did that? Thanks man!
Thanks very much! I may pick up one of the brightly colored models in the future, but I tend to find I can match my pen to the rest of my EDC when it's a more "neutral" tone. I bought my sister a pink one last year and she loves it. That blue one is a beauty!
This is a little off subject but i would appreciate your opinion on something. How do rate the Victorinox nylon scales compared to the Cellidor scales? Which do you prefer if you don't my asking?
I wear skinny jeans pretty much all the time. I've mentioned this in other videos but everything you see here fits in my pockets comfortably with no bulging and no need for a belt. It's light, fairly thin and everything sits flat against my pockets. It looks like a lot when it's all laid out on a table but I assure you it disappears when I'm carrying it. In fact, the only two items you can usually see are my phone (which is large enough to leave an imprint/outline in my pocket, and my knife, with its exposed pocket clip. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I too like to carry weapons around with me. They are extremely useful multi use tools but are unfortunately pretty heavy. I've never been stopped for them in an airport and are easily concealable. They are called my muscles and are just not for everyone. Continue to carry your pepper spray bud ;)
It's not from a specific brand, but it was purchased from Ebay. It's called a "Thai Amulet Clip" and there are several sellers who have them available.
Just watched it. Nice job! I did this very same mod to a pair using a Spyderco SharpMaker, but for a different reason. My coworker bought some upon my suggestion, and his pair arrived with the tips slightly misaligned and with an extremely slight bias away from each other at the tip. I bent them gently toward each other and then used the sharpening stones to smooth some of the abrasions I'd left during the process. It left his tweezer tips thinner than mine. When I saw the benefit, I did the same to my own! Nice that you posted the method for everyone to use, and so concisely. Thank you!
Not yet, thank goodness! I try to avoid situations where I'd need it, but sometimes you really can't tell. Better safe than sorry, I suppose. Thanks for watching!
I had one of those luckyline things with that same keytool and a little streamlight nano. The luckyline thing fell off the first day and I lost both the keytool and the light. Just a heads up for people who use them.
Bummer! I've heard the same thing but I've been carrying one for for years now with no problems. I've never even had one come loose, let alone undone. You might try the Twisty version as it is much harder to open than the Flex model.
Sweet video! Going to check out the wallet. You should check out I also carry a note pad. Check out doanes paper.. He is on instragram. Looking forward to the bag reviews
If a pistol is not part of your EDC then something is a miss. I laugh at the pepper spray. Do you know the effects of pepper spray? Yes you will be just as out of the fight as the other person. That is if it has any effect on the other person.
+mjsummer I don't know what to tell you. I live in California, which is one of several states that do not allow open or concealed carry for most citizens. A CCW is near impossible to receive for all but small business owners and LEOs here. I can't move, so I make the best of a bad situation. Glad my video amused you.
+ItsAWonderfulKnife Well the good news is the horrible, liberal 9th district court had ruled that San Diego was violating citizens 2nd amendment rights, of course it's been appealed but they're going to announce a decision any day now and it's looking good for freedom.
+ZzBiohazzardzZ Chiefly because California doesn't allow citizens to carry guns in public, open carry or otherwise. Also, a CCW is nearly impossible to obtain for non business owners here. Law-abiding citizens are unfortunately left to make do with what we can.
ItsAWonderfulKnife All you had to say was that you were in Cali. lol. Man that sucks, I could only put up with it for so long before I moved out or just carry illegally like a lot of ppl do lol.
That leatherman mini tool rocks! I don't think I've ever seen one before. That 0561 is a beast of a blade. Love the machined handle pattern on that bad boy. Great stuff as always!

Dude nice to see you back brother! And I LOVE those Field Notes. Never see those before...
Really? Oh man, definitely pick some up. They're basic but perfect at the same time. And thanks, homie!
Glad to see you back! Would love to see more of the Yojimbo!
Thanks! I'll definitely make a video then!
I have 7 Ti lights and 4 copper. The one I use the most is this one you use. I believe max L are around 500? I charge the tail cap up and put next to the bed. Good light! Like the blade as well. Keep one in my Swiss Army bag… great vid...
Great EDC as usual.Enjoyable Thanks and good luck.

Correction, Uncle Bill's...hahaha not Uncle Ben's
Sweet EDC! The Leatherman Mini is no longer in production though!!
Great EDC here! Just subbed and can't wait to see more!
I was so happy to see that bright color bak round great vid glad to see ur bak
KNIFEJUNKIE 13 Haha, glad to be back! Hopefully I'll get those bag reviews up quick!
I edc the same flashlight and field notes as well. It's not as durable as I wanted though. The cover got soft and ripped from the humidity in my pocket.
Maybe I'll try the expedition edition.
Great video!! I was looking for a cruelty-free (non leather) wallet. Gonna give it a try.
Right on! I'm still using this wallet and it's holding up nicely with just a little fraying at some of the edges. This can be mitigated over time with a lighter. Thanks very much for watching!
Sick essentials! Especially knifes.
.......finally a normal EDC video not some weekend warrior prepping for the zombie apocalypse
Haha, thanks! You know what's crazy? Despite my EDC being what I consider to be fairly tame and easy to carry, I often get comments about how ridiculous and over-the-top it is! Very interesting array of small tools! You sound a bit rush in your delivery--but, you probably are. I hope there are links to the items. Carry on!
Didn't realize we were neighbors, SD!
SD wow!!Gretting from sd imperial beach. Love to yo2 very practical just hate the standard spyderco clip gets caught on everything.
Yay! A fellow San Diego native!
I love the pelican clip, please post link for it if you get the chance. Thanks!
I should start carrying a little notebook in my other back pocket. I wish I could find a SMALL prybar/bottleopener, but haven't been able to find anything I like (like the one you have).
For a very small pry/bottle opener, look no further than the Leatherman Brewzer. It's inexpensive, too!
And I think to myself... what a wonderful kniiiiifffe
Hehehe!
+ItsAWonderfulKnife good job sir.. Check out my video and give me some advice
Nice setup! I think I'll buy that pen.
David Banther Thanks, David! You'll like it, I'm sure. One of my favorite everyday items.

Sweet video! Enjoy your day.
Dan Guzman Thank you, Dan! Enjoy yours as well!
Great EDC.
Bruno Alexandre Thanks very much!
Great video. I carry a few items of the same as you. I have the eagtac, mine is modded for throw and power, great lights with or without the mod!
Field notes I wish I had those 30 years ago when I started logging everything, I now have crates and crates of all kinda mis matched log books.....
So I bought that bike master link because I thought it was a nice little touch for a keychain, how did you get yours so stay open? Meaning when I put the outer clip on, the other figure 8 looking link falls over to the sealed side. I see yours doesn't do that, if you can help out how you did that? Thanks man!
great to see ya dude really nice set up really want one o those pry bar now tho lol
Thanks, friend! I have to have a mini pry on me all the time. For an inexpensive entry that works very, very well, look into the Leatherman Brewzer!
Nice vid!! Great gear!
what a beautiful edc,i have the same pen,but in the blueberry version,if you like colors, why don't you buy a shiny green, blue or red space pen?
Thanks very much! I may pick up one of the brightly colored models in the future, but I tend to find I can match my pen to the rest of my EDC when it's a more "neutral" tone. I bought my sister a pink one last year and she loves it. That blue one is a beauty!
This is a little off subject but i would appreciate your opinion on something. How do rate the Victorinox nylon scales compared to the Cellidor scales? Which do you prefer if you don't my asking?
ha! those neon field notes books are certainly very you
Hehehe, guilty!
Great edc, took a lot from the video!

ItsAWonderfulKnife No worries man excited for more!
Oh cool, you live in SD too, what part?
Check out the recycled firefighter notebook cover
I often wonder where the EDC guys keep all this stuff?
Do you wear cargo pants everywhere?
I wear skinny jeans pretty much all the time. I've mentioned this in other videos but everything you see here fits in my pockets comfortably with no bulging and no need for a belt. It's light, fairly thin and everything sits flat against my pockets. It looks like a lot when it's all laid out on a table but I assure you it disappears when I'm carrying it. Good vid!
i got the iPhone 6 plus and love it
Thanks for the recommendation. It's definitely in my short list!
Where did u get all those clips u have on your tools and what is the maker of the pelican clip?
The clips came from eBay, and the pelican clip is from HL Human.
I too like to carry weapons around with me. They are extremely useful multi use tools but are unfortunately pretty heavy. I've never been stopped for them in an airport and are easily concealable. They are called my muscles and are just not for everyone. Continue to carry your pepper spray bud ;)
You must be so tough.
5'3" with half inch pythons so yeah, i'm pretty big.
Your muscles are easily concealed? How unfortunate for you.
Concealed: Kept hidden, or secret. Hiding in plain sight.
+Thatoneblackguy258 lol
What is the small device you use on your keychain items and where do you get it.
+Vaughn Bradley Which one?
What was the pocket clip brand on your leatherman?
It's not from a specific brand, but it was purchased from Ebay. It's called a "Thai Amulet Clip" and there are several sellers who have them available.
I have a video on a modification to the Sliver Gripper tweezers you might want to see.

I like it
Hey I just realised your backdrops are always a different colour how do you do that?
James Hinrichsen I believe its just foam board that you can get from most craft or 1$ stores
What is your flex o lock connected to that is on your carabiner +itsAWonderfulknife
+ItsAWonderfulknife
+Greg wolf It's a master link from a bike chain :) You can buy them on Amazon.
Have you ever needed to use the pepper spray?
Not yet, thank goodness! I try to avoid situations where I'd need it, but sometimes you really can't tell. Better safe than sorry, I suppose. Thanks for watching!
nexus5 ? sony xperia?

+ItsAWonderfulKnife I guess you can say that you got a lucky one haha
This a great edc... :-)
Thank you very much!
why are you not making videos anymore?
I've just been wrapped up in other stuff. I'm definitely going to make more videos.
Sweet video! Going to check out the wallet. You should check out I also carry a note pad. Check out doanes paper.. He is on instragram. Looking forward to the bag reviews
Where's the M.U.S.C.L.E.? ;)

+John K I'm planning on coming back but I admit it's been a long hiatus!

good eye!
ItsAWonderfulKnife any particular reason
+ZzBiohazzardzZ Chiefly because California doesn't allow citizens to carry guns in public, open carry or otherwise. Also, a CCW is nearly impossible to obtain for non business owners here. Law-abiding citizens are unfortunately left to make do with what we can.
