  • Is it even possible to put every animal in one franchise zoo? I'm going to find out! Today we add Red Eyed Tree Frog, Reindeer, Saltwater Crocodile, Sacred Scarab Beetle, Sand Cat, Siberian Tiger and Snow Leopard into the Every Animal Zoo! My challenge is to create a profitable Franchise Mode zoo that will eventually house every animal in Planet Zoo. Join along as we learn how to create a successful franchise mode zoo together!
    👉 We now have a DISCORD, with community games, giveaways and more! Joint the fun here / discord
    About me: I'm Plastic Swans and I do a lot of wacky stuff with Planet Zoo, like racing the animals and time trials. I like to call this kind of thing wholesome chaos and that's what I try to do most of all on the channel. I also make one-off habitats and zoos, and I also make the starter habitats for Planet Zoo, a collection of ready-made franchise/challenge compatible habitats for every animal in the game.

    I find it odd that the snow leopards in Planet Zoo need climbing enrichment less than the Siberian tigers. This is because snow leopards live in the Himalayas so they spend a lot of their life climbing.
    Another thing that I want to mention is that you have one cat left which is the West African lion.

    Saltwater Crocodiles can travel through the ocean, they've been known to travel from the tip of Australia to the west coast and into Sri Lanka and Indian waters. That's why they're called Saltwater because they can survive in the middle of the ocean.
    I just gotta remember that cobblestone technique, it's so easy and yet really enhances bland spaces! And that Cool Cats building is just wonderful!!

    Actually saltwater crocodiles do go into the sea! You can look up videos of them swimming on the open ocean or hanging out on beaches, I had a friend who got a kind of close encounter with a pretty young one on a beach 😅

      Indeed, they do. Famously, they actually do like mangroves for the young on the edge of the sea.

    -West Indian Manatee
    -Bat Eared Fox
    -Blackbuck Antelope
    -Keel Billed Toucans
    -Grevy's Zebra (could have been in the Arid DLC)
    -Nilgai
    -Star tortoises and other reptiles

    Really cool as always, I love your enclosed buildings. It makes a lot of sense knowing you work with this in RL!
    I'm surprised you got away with those walls for the sand cats, I had to raise mine as one of the cats managed to jump the 2 meter glass

    • @PlasticSwans

      They did initially escape up the roof because the tree was too close! I think the barrier works due to it being a 'double barrier' with the guest fence in front, so confuses the game and it's seen as un-navigable

    Saltwater crocs actually do swim out into the ocean! Not super deep or far, but they do head out on beaches and estuaries!
    I think one of the most terrifying experiences I've ever had in my life was when I went out with my family to a pretty discrete beach and watched the largest saltwater croc i've ever seen in my life shuffle it's way up the beach.

Ur talent and creativity in this game is unparalleled! Not to mention your presentation and delivery is amazing - whilst I’m super excited for the final few episodes of the series I’ll also be quite sad as it’s been so good! I’ll eagerly be awaiting for whatever series you choose to do next!

    If I remember correctly then Saltwater Crocodiles lives on beaches and islands. Yes even in rivers but mainly at sea (in some languages the saltwater part is replaced with sea)

    I just started PZ a couple of weeks ago and I’m so amazed by your building and space management. Your habitats are beautiful, I definitely learned a few things from this video!
    Fun fact about the crocs, Saltwater crocodiles are often seen on beaches and divers have seen them while scuba-ing, as they enter the sea (if they’re close to it) to hunt! Even American Alligators, which are primarily freshwater animals, have been spotted at beaches swimming in the US and Mexico! :)

    I made a really interesting looking habitat for some crocs and only the females can traverse into the shelter, now I feel a bit bad for the male as he has some giant parasols as his only hard shelter because I couldn’t be bothered to reconfigure everything

    I love the concept - I would love longer to far longer videos with far more building recorded more.

    • @PlasticSwans
      @PlasticSwans  10 месяцев назад

      I'd love to do longer videos, but majority of my audience aren't interested in them. Sweet spot for me is 15-20 minutes before interest really drops off. I cram as much in terms of builds into those 20 minutes - any more and the details would be lost. Time is a factor for me too unfortunately. The builds I do each week (for 1 video a week), it's roughly 8 hours build per week, 6 hours to edit and do a voiceover. That's roughly 2 hours on Planet Zoo and editing videos every day. That's really all I can spare consistently per week whilst also juggling a full time job.

    • @timokarff6162
      @timokarff6162 10 месяцев назад

      @@PlasticSwans I do understand this, but would longer videos really take longer to make or edit? I don't mean more content per se, but fewer things cut out. Have you found out that your community drops off when the videos are longer than 20 minutes, via a poll or something?

  • @marados3270
    @marados3270 11 месяцев назад

    Actually the longest recorded jump of a Snow Leopard was 11.7 meters, so the shown jump in your video isn't unrealistic.
