Thank you so much for filming this. I went to Mardi Gras every year growing up. Once I got married in 1990 I was so sad that I was not going my husband had me go with my parents in 1993. That sadly was the last Mardi Grad I saw. I keep saying every year next year. By Mardi Gras day I am sad and depressed I am not there. So thank you so much for giving me this front row seat.

LOve the up CLOSE angles! Much better than the cams. Also love the shots of the crazy crowds...I watch a ton of parades and other than the enormous Rio De Janero carnival parades that have the floats up to 50 feet high and 30 feet wide, I have never seen anyone do the crowd shots as good as you do! Btw, do you have Rio Carnival on your bucket list? To see their parades in the specially built "Sambadrome" should be a modern "wonder of the world". Their floats defy the laws of gravity and safety!. I mean, when a float is so big it shoots a man out of a cannon into a net....that in itself is a wonder! lol

When it comes to Rio's Carnival, it is a bucket list item to see and record. It would be an amazing video to do a comparison between New Orleans and Rio! From a ground floor perspective! Also when it comes to close up shots, We believe that being up close in a parade brings an energy that other perspectives just can not provide! Next year, we are prob going to double cam Endymion, as that parade lends itself to showing the long views of floats as well, but we will never change our close up, in the middle of it all, type of experience! We understand where you’re coming from, as you would think being in New Orleans it’s hot all the time! During Mardi Gras it’s normally a little cooler, but sometimes it’s a crapshoot. On Mardi Gras day, we have been in weather where it was in the 30s to 50s, Other times it was in the 70s! Either way, we have a great time no matter what, letting the good times roll!
