I can never understand truck & tractor pullers. They build a puller with a NHRA nitro fueled race engine. Huh? It seems to me, just enter a D11 CAT. Hell, you could borrow a new one from the local CAT dealer OR find an old well worn D11 and go pullin. A D11 will out pull the whole field of pullers. MAYBE D11s are outlawed. Not enough flash. Pullers are too light in the front. Build a water transfer system. As the sled weight increases, match that weight by pumping water to the front of the puller. !
It surpasses the horsepower of the big bud 747, only when they adjust the 747 down. Not long ago the 747 was set at 1100 hp, and it is supposed to be capable of higher horsepower yet. And the 747 is definitely heavier than the 9rx 830. Not to belittle John Deeres acheivement.

Let’s see, various Deere manufactured machines from lawn mowers to Construction machines use Engines manufactured by Cummins, Kawasaki, Yanmar, Kohler, Detroit Diesel, etc. Making the statement “ nothing runs like a Deere “ is a compliment to all of these Brands. I'm not sure if that means you like Deere or not. I can tell you most everything runs as good as a Deere and most run better and you'll save money avoiding green. Anything the Deere can pull the Case, Fendt or New Holland can also.
@@DonaldFraser-c9vI agree, New Holland built a heck of a tractor that no doubt could keep up with the Deere and not need a ridiculous 800 gallon tank. Theres the real price of that much horsepower. Growing up on the farm we had 1 big tractor that we only used when it was needed for tillage because it was so much more expensive to run that 150hp or so 2wd, which we used for planting. We used all Allis and Gleaner by the way and our 8550 was a beast

None of these tractor don't have the horse power of the BIG BUD 747 tractor... The BIG BUD 747 has 1100 horse 🐎 power.....
But the 9rx 830 has a tad more torque than the big bud 747
