Fortunately, that woman just swerved around her kids and crossed the finish line, winning the race in spite of her husband’s malicious ploy to make her lose. I voted for President Biden in 2020. I voted for Biden in this year's primary. If the Dems insist on removing him from the nominee, I will write in Biden for president. Do the Dems really want a portion of the electorates splitting the party with write-in votes?
I will do the same, and change my party affiliation to Independent. Biden won the primaries under the existing rules. Changing candidates would disenfranchise voters who made clear Biden should be our candidate.
Writing Biden in will lose the election if there is another candidate. Not enough people will write him in to win.

20 years ago, that's the last time a Republican presidential candidate has won the popular vote. Since 2004, the Republican Party has relied upon gerrymandering and the electoral vote.
The GOP has relied on the electoral college that has not kept up with the massive population swings in the larger states favoring the smaller red states.

What's really "damaging" here is this whole drawn-out discussion about Biden's fitness. Whatever the party does, I wish they'd do it less publicly and, most of all, more quickly. The fact that elites in Washington, Hollywood, wealthy donors, and the media are aligned against him means that we need to circle the wagons around Joe.
The $ has some confused about their commitment to reelection of Joe, but the VOTE is what matters in November. None of those elites can cast more than one vote each. They are no match for the number of non-elite supporting Joe. We can do it without them and perhaps he can make choices in his second term that doesn’t include many of them (which could benefit the whole).
Pelosi is the last person who should be talking to Biden about mental capabilities and ability to do the job. If anyone should be stepping down due to age related concerns it's her.
