For Heidi I don’t think it was what she did was wrong it was more like what she did felt wrong to kahanna and she never wanted her to feel that way.
To be honest, that didn't feel mature but like gaslighting. Heidi should have taken a stand and explain why Kahanna cannot project her failure on her, but because she was already in a bad place mentally, she wasn't able to.

-Al*xis having a chance to tell the TRUTH and then being spineless and switching up her story mid sentence, and then later manipulatively crying for sympathy? God this was just so depressing to see. This really just had me shaking my head.

I stopped watching after they allowed Kandy on Drag race. I was so utterly disgusted by her trash mouth, and trash self, that I just found Ru Paul's drag race unpalatable. I didn't even know Kandy was on season 8 until i watched this video, and holy crap was I right to stop. Have fun with your wealth Mama Ru.....disgusting.

Girl, if you think this is justification to pout off and leave the competition though, then that's ridiculous, and a whole lot of emotion over nothing. Far too weak to be crowned if that's the case. As the other girls were saying, and as they flashed back to, it appeared like Heidi wanted to leave long before this convo ensued. Im thinking she thought in her heard that she would appear like Dela...but in actuality, it felt disingenuous and non-sensical. Either that or she was worried that she was fast approaching a sashay.
Heidi has always come off as a genuine and nice person. if the environment made her feel uncomfortable, i praise her for choosing her mental health over screen time and money.

Heidi saved herself from being painted as the villain by production, and I respect her for that. She was trying to play All Stars as earnestly as she could. The producers were REALLY trying to make her the villain, robbing her of top placements just to push her buttons. This is what made her start being over it, and this drama brought it to the boiling point. So shame on the producers for robbing Heidi of her joy on the show just because they rig everything

They don’t let quitters back on the show. Sorry. Heidi is not even allowed to take part in the fame games. This will likely be her final appearance on drag race. Kahanna is so delusional, you'd think she has never watched the show before. It's obvious the only aspect of her drag that has improved is the looks department. And all of the work she has had done has been worth every penny. I just don't get why she felt so upset about Heidi doing what you're supposed to do on Snatch Game. She should have had that conversation with Heidi, off camera, instead of bringing Kandi into it. Please get eliminated next and pray they have invented surgery for a new personality. How was kandy being shady though, she was asking wtf, she wanted to exactly what was going on, like if you can tell one person what I said you can clarify what you said. Heidi could’ve just not said anything to begin with. Heidi created her own stress with opening up about something that wasn’t necessary to brought up. It could’ve been that easy, she could’ve talked to kandy and jumbo together and not told other people.

You know why is Kandy getting the passes? It's because she plays the game, and we know she plays the game. She is one of those girls that do the hard work of keeping the seasons more dramatic at the expense of their own reputation and most people know it. That's why you don't have girls jumping at her neck right now outside the show - because she is actually a pretty lovely person. But a person who knows what drag race producers want and what they are about.
And if you are talking about her performance, fashion and other stuff - I mean she is mostly safe right now and most of the girls who were in the bottom - were performing worse than her. Unless you gonna tell me that her net look deserved more scrutiny than Mrs. Kasha Davis'

I'm so proud of Heidi for this move. James said it correctly, she played the snatch game as any other queen should! We may all have valid feelings, but again it's how we communicate it - even at the heat of the moment is what matters. Jimbo was more helpful in putting things into context. This is not a "blame it on the edit" scene.

Keyword: VOLLEY. Heidi played Snatch Game fairly. That’s been done 10 times over, & this is the only instance (that we’ve seen) of the other contestant getting upset after the fact. I get how she’s feeling totally, but Heidi is not to blame.

As someone who was lucky enough to meet Heidi last week, it’s obvious she doesn’t regret the decision she made, and that it has helped to save and protect her mental wellbeing. It’s honestly really uplifting to see queens start to learn that their health is more important than any grand prize.

Kandy keeps getting away with being a bad person without consequences, and actually getting rewarded for it, which is NOT okay. It’s a tv show, yes, but look how it affected Heidi. That is not worth TV. This show needs to start consequencing bad behavior, i.e. Kandy.

Single out one queen, make her feel like her hard work is going unnoticed, get the other contestants to gang up on her if she shows an ounce of frustration, she cracks under the pressure and gives an Emmy-worthy meltdown, eliminate her unceremoniously.

I feel so bad for Heidi like she was playing the snatch game fair and square like razzing other characters this is something people do often. Eureka did it, Jimbo did it last time, even Bianca did it. Then Kandi comes to pile on like girl time and place let that girl BREATHE and Alexis gaslighting cause she doesn’t wanna get involved like no wonder she left that’s like so much all at once
when i saw heidi turn that corner i screamed, i was rooting for her the WHOLE competition.

Agreed! 👍 I place a lot of value on integrity. My favourite artists in all genres have it alongside their talent - it adds to their "likeability". This definitely helped me decide who I want to support in future. Not being hateful, just honest.

This is so heartbreaking poor Heidi she had fun in season 12 so she probably thought this would be even more fun for her but the people on this cast were too toxic- so I hope she just remembers the good times on season 12 and don’t even stress about this one it’s not worth it
You could tell she was having fun too… until the shade given in the Ball (which I like Jessica and felt she earned it, it WAS shade to put Heidi as safe).
Went downhill after, as even when you could see Heidi should’ve been ranked high, was safe.
I think production and Ru are still pissed Heidi kept her name over changing it (you can tell they hate the “hiding in closet” pun, though Heidi herself said it’s a shout out to friends at her home) so they let her know pulling this.
She made a decision best for her, and hopefully RPDR will leave her alone.
Yeah it was really sad seeing her head space this time around. She was always a light, but this season she was struggling with the darkness. I respect her for always being authentic no matter what, and true to herself.
The queens on season 12 were so sweet to each other, they really see each other as sisters ;-; the dynamics between queens in All Stars 8 feels off for some reason, it creates a hostile environment imo
The second kandy started getting mad that Heidi wouldn’t be loyal to her “even if she had said it” was the second you could tell she was lying. Heidi even apologized when she didn’t need to to kohana. She’s to good for this season.
I know no one can stand Kandy, but I lowkey blame Alexis more for backpedaling… and then that dramatic cry was so cringe.
Kandy and Alexis left a bad impression on me after this. Kandy IS fake, Heidi, Jimbo and EVEN Alexis (whom confirmed she only agreed with Kandy cus she was "afraid" of her) questioned her loyalty here. She is not someone loyal, such a liar. Alexis is a coward, throwing people under the bus to "save" herself and i totally understand why Heidi left, even if they are in good terms now, what Kandy did with her this episode was disgusting.
Kandy showed how she plays on her original season when she argued with Tamisha Iman... so this was not surprising....at all. Plus, she was cool with Gottmik, who's known to not be a nice person, outside of drag race... they really had to neaten up when they were cast.
Wouldn't call her as a person fake - her persona on that show? Yeah. But we knew that already. Just looking at what she said to Heidi through this whole deal - plays into that idea.
She was trying to stir a petty drag fight for the entertainment, but did not expect Heidi to take herself out, instead of playing it up for the camera with her. This would also be a good storyline for both of them - with one eliminating the other later on.
We have seen girls do that, Eureka and Trinity the Tuck have done that as well before. Or even from newer seasons Maddy and Jasmine Kennedy.
Like, if this was serious - she wouldn't go after Heidi at the end. And it's really no one's fault here either. Heidi has been not feeling the All Stars vibe for few episodes now and with both Kahanna feeling betrayed about the help during Snatch Game and others trying to stir stuff here and judges not seeing her on the runway either - it just overwhelmed her in a way other girls probably hasn't expected.
I mean people are trying to defend her and say she wants to play it up for the show whatever but Heidi was already saying she wanted to leave so I feel like it was still a very low blow at the end of the day and not cool
@@Michaelabeauty96 to be fair if you look at the cuts - Heidi was fully smiling and vibing between the whole "drama" and her quitting (based on the makeup progression). So situation maybe wasn't as serious or Kandy didn't fully read the atmosphere. Remember that we also have the interview insight - other girls don't have.
We are definitely missing a lot of context there. And for all we know Heidi could also be playing up her departure to spice it all up.
Like she has been talking about leaving for few weeks there, so there could have been a chance that at some point she already had made her decision, but was asked to make the situation more "entertaining". Or there may have been other factors to her leaving - and putting so much "blame" on the rest of the cast may not be fully fair.

We know how Kandy plays the game since season 13 but i don't think sacrificing a friend's mental health (or even an alliance that she started with) in a enviroment like RPDR is a great way to "stir the pot".
