When I booked, I was almost positive I booked Sky Class, but now that I’m booked, it just tells me the room # (6648) You said the JY were on the 6th floor, so I’m guessing I chose the right room… When going up to the suite sun deck, is there a card access entrance or can anyone go up there? Also, were you able to get a lounge chair up there every day? Were you able to make reservations at Coastal Kitchen with no problem? Did you utilize the concierge’s services to help you with reservations?
Thanks for all the questions! It was a card access area that was really well done and the suite areas were enclosed. We were always able to get a chair nice and spacious and not too busy. No problems at coastal kitchen! The concierge always reaches out one week before and this is when we usually organize our coastal kitchen reservations and any other requests. Hope this helps!
What'd you think of the location of this suite? We're directly on the other side of the ship from this in 6240 in September. Did it detract too much from the suite experience too much being so far from the suite area?
I personally didn’t mind it, but I can definitely see people finding it as a negative aspect. The suite area and cabins up on that deck are actually behind private glass doors, which can definitely make it feel a bit quieter and more of a suite environment similar to how MSC does it. I found myself spending a few hours at the suite sun deck rather than making multiple trips so if you do prefer going multiple times a day then you may like the convenience!
For Utopia, the Junior suite category “JY” cabins are on deck 6 and are classified as Sky class. Other Junior suites are category J3/J4 which are Sea class. No Junior suites are Star class. Hope this helps :)
Thank you for finally showing the Sky Junior Suite. I’ve booked this room type for my daughter’s birthday cruise & couldn’t find a video or pictures.
Glad this was helpful for you! Definitely a great suite for her birthday :)
Thanks - Nice cabin 😉
Definitely a good one!
Thank you! We are staying in the exact type room in January!
Of course! It’s a lovely room for sure you’ll certainly enjoy it.
@@thelifeofacruiser How would 5 people fit in this room? I just see room for 4.
@@agreer1999 There is a pullman bed up on the ceiling!
Thank you for showing the sofa s a bed! I've been looking for a video or photo of this so I can see how it's made up.
Happy this helped you! Always looking to provide the best information 😄
How was the noise level? Was the room quiet or was noise an issue?
It was thankfully not too noisy! We weren’t too too close to an elevator so that helped.

@@thelifeofacruiser Appreciate the feedback, thanks!
It's hard to beat the Yacht Club but we're excited to experience a suite on the Utopia!
@@FamilyAtSea not a problem :) definitely a tough comparison but absolutely enjoyable on Utopia!
Was wifi included with the sky jr suite?
Yes it was! Only for Utopia, Icon, and Spectrum though.
How do you know if you booked a star or sky cabin
