Thank you for this -I hope like your recent pad video, I will be able to learn more about delving into this great synth to create more wonderful sounds ❤
Thanks for sharing this one. It made my mind up to order one. Looks like a great little tool for a first synth, but small enough to be a toy on long commutes and when somebody wants to watch terrible stuff on the box
What power adapter are you using? The manual does not seem to say what pwr it needs. Right now mine works with power from computer usb, so does that mean i can use a usb basic phone charger? The manual says not much, just says usb-c
Any normal phone-type 5V USB power adaptor that lets you hook up a USB-C lead should work I think (maybe not if they output a very low current I don't know). Certainly any I have tried work.
I need more tutorials like this, I got one and every time I try to make interesting sounds I just get Saw kind of tones and thats it... its like there is too many factors working together and i cant grasp the sound design ideas right... I mean there is like a 120 waveforms multiplied by the 4 oscilators plus the vector traveling (R timing) and the envelope plus other things and I get crazy :s
Great tutorial as usual. I saved a patch from scratch made using your tutorial and could only save it in the factory presets, so overwritten one of them, is this the only way to save by overwriting them? I did try this Sysexy thing and saved something to computer,, but ProVS did not want it back, I may have misunderstood Sysex, and what order to do things in, certainly could not find how to do it on any Behringer site, all they did was show you the sound of the ProVS. So if anyone could help a dumbo, it would be greatly appreciated..
Thank you! Always glad when these are useful. Yes the only way to save is by overwriting the current preset which is a bit annoying! There is no option to save to another slot. In order to load patch from sysex you need to go Func button - 1 (menu) and keep pressing menu until it shows ‘Sysex receive listening’ or similar - then you can use Synthtribe to send a patch to the current slot or a whole bank. You can get the factory presets back by pressing menu until you reach ‘reset to factory settings’ or something like that and activate that. Agree the manual could be a lot more useful!
Many thanks for your time explaining presets/sysex, I don't normally ask as I do not want to put you or anyone doing these very helpful tutorials off doing them. Took me ages to work out how to put name in and save etc. Your patch ended up like a full orchestra with loads of extras after I messed around with it, and a bit of third party reverb on it, once again thank you for your Tutorial and help.@@witchdoctorwise
Does seem like it’s taking a while! I believe you can still it from Andertons here in the UK but import shipping etc may add a bit. Seems to be rumours that December might be the time it hits the US…

Thank you, this is a great tutorial. Could you share your experience and programming workflow with the sequencer?
Great tutorial! I also liked your Awesome 3 - Don´t Go cover. :o)
Haha thanks

man this thing is really complex!
It looks more complex than it is - not too bad when you get used to it
