Thank you so much for posting this. My father, John F. King produced and directed this! Its wonderful to see that it still lives and serves as a nice view of the city of that era. My dad was a very creative guy and talented in many areas. He had never made a documentary before this and I think he did a terrific job! And the mayor was re-elected!
Oh how I miss the old Somerville. I loved it so much that I moved back after many years of absence. My father John owned Colonial Cleaners at 70E Beacon St.

He really did a great job, especially having never produced a film before. Saw the Glines school I went to in kindergarten over 70 years ago.
@@khlynch8 Thanks for complimenting my dad. He'd really be happy to know that people can still see and enjoy his film.
As a kid that grew up in the West Somerville area back in the 70's and 80's this is a great video .Its funny the way the Ville looked back then
Ty for sharing!!!

Thank You For The Memories, originally from Madison St.
So awesome. Thank you.
This is the Mayor we need today .... I do remember this Mayor and his son.
I completely agree. Curtatone running UN-OPPOSED needs to stop, give me a choice then I'll start voting again
I loved, well done...
