- The amazing first person accounts of Sri M, guru to many and author of what's said to be among India's fastest selling book on spirituality, "Apprenticed to a Himalayan Master: A Yogi's Autobiography".
Sri M lives in the ashram he created in Madanapalle, India. Born into a Muslim family as, Mumtaz Ali Khan, Sri M is considered to be one of India's leading contemporary mystics. As a young man, Sri M lived for several years high in the Himalayan mountains with his teacher, Sri Maheshwarnath Babaji who in turn was the disciple of Mahavatar Babaji.
In this interview, Sri M tells of meeting in person, Shirdi Sai Baba, Mahavatar Babaji, serpent spiritual beings fro another galaxy and many others, comments that stretch one's credulity, and faith, just as Sri M prefers.

I really enjoyed Sri M book " Apprenticed to a Himalayn yogi" and found it to be so good that I had to read this twice, to really understand. I also liked this video. Sri M is really one of the very few here and so down to earth. I really wish to meet him along with my Son.

Thank you all for his comments. About some of the issues raised here: A) the audio is poor since I can only record interviews with one audio channel...make sure your computer's audio channels are "both" working....most people have no problems with the audio. As for being to abrupt with Sri M...it is the journalist in me...i was told i would have about half the time that was actually allotted to me...i did my homework, had tons of questions and felt certain i should elicit the most from him. he understood. as for his Sai Baba comments....Baba is likely not Sri M's path. he did not push the issue, however i did, until i finally understood that Sri M had little to add about Baba. His discretion is admirable....even if I might disagree with him. All paths are different, even if they do take us to the same destination. Just today (Aug 2, 2014) I met with another guru from the same small town of Maddenapalli where Sri M lives. Mother Meera has two ashrams in that town, and today she visited Denver, Colorado where I had a chance to have her darshan. AP in India is blessed to have so many saints, Sri M, Mother Meera, Amma Sri Karunamayi, and Sai Baba. Sai Ram.

+Souljourns I would recommend you read "Sreepada Shreevallabha Charitamrutam". It is a very holy book so you should respect it, while reading and otherwise. It has some information about Babaji Maharaj and also about the different worlds in the universe, including the Nagaloka (the world of the Serpents). It also speaks about how different religions are really the same, and the bridges between them. It is an excellent book and has helped me understand a lot of the mysteries of the mystic world.

On my journey I came in contact with a yogi in London UK and he quickly did something similar right before my eyes, but I didn't get strung out on the miracle because I've grown up having mystical encounters.
I've also came in contact with beings from another planet. The mind in practice is literally a gateway to the multiverse.
It's fine, but you don't need to say it. Keep it to yourself, if you want to raise your consciousness with this energy. Even if you spill an ounce of 'the feeling' you are losing, literally years in your journey 🙏

Bharath is really Mahan. I am proud to say that only India can produce men like Sri M & our ex-president Kalam.
They are the present day versions of Kabir, Biru Mohammed (one of the 18 famous Siddhas) & others. We should also remember Late Chief Justice MM Ismail who was an authority on Kamba's Ramayanam.
I pray to God (and I have no doubt) that Sri M lives long long years & enriches Bharath & its future generations.

i am lucky to be a humble reader of this book...it really fascinated me...i have a word to the people who criticise him...he is not at all trying to show off or become a human god...he is not exaggerating anything....but revealing his experience about the universe which we have not seen and even think......
Ted, you are able to see the same divinity in all forms. Sai Baba will be proud of your practice of "Love all" and "See Sai always in all". Especially because you are personally a Sai devotee and in the job of making his experiences reach the public. What this proves is an extraordinary level of love in Sai and the path he has shown and of course a lot of hard work and resources.

This comment is - For the one who interviewed M. Please be patient hereafter until the person finishes his answer. Half things M sir couldn't finish as you were keep interrupting. Have patience. Listen. what is the hurry in merely questioning and not waiting for his answers. Every important revelation you cut it down. Please be aware of those things.
Very correct. Interviewer is asking as if to a journalist or a lay person,whereas Sri M is surely beyond. Many time he is inturupted

thanks souljourn for uploading so many videos of devotees and other related to sri satya sai baba a great service to loard, sri m is a great master and it is great fortune that he is in india, it is really great joy to listen to sri M after reading his book "Apprenticed to a Himalayan Master: A Yogi's Autobiography". He talked about writing a book related to his previous four lives and his relation with baba it would be interesting to see an evolution of souls specially of such masters through lives, thanks for the video.

Those complaining about the interviewer are not ready to receive their message because they are focusing on the negative instead of the conversation recorded. If Sri M was uncomfortable, he wouldn't have had 3 more sit downs with the Interviewer.

omconnect1 , One should not skip to conclusions, if we don't know we should neither say yes nor no we should seek. In many fields there are quacks but it doesn't mean all are.
When I first met him in Bhopal during the Walk of Hope, he was surrounded by elite people like the CM and all other ministers. He was walking upon the roses and was staying in a luxurious 4 star guest house. There were some people anxiously waiting to meet him, but he was very much busy with the Chief Minister and other eminent guests in the Bhawan. I met him in person too. It didn't yield me much. The *show and pomp* was a major turn off for me. I am not being skeptical, but in this 21st century, one can not easily elevate to the status of Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Baba Sai or Neem Karoli baba, while living in the family life. You need to take to renunciation. In the times of Kabirdas, Nanak and Tukaram, spirituality reconciled with family life was not this challenging.
Ever since Yogananda has penned down about "Mahavatar baba", he has became more of an urban legend that any famous God-man like Shri M or Pilot baba makes narration about? Why none before Lahiri Mahasaya or yogananda? Vivekananda has warned against blind belief. First test logically what you experience, then believe. The Nyay and Vaisesika school of Hinduism.

i agree with you. What happens the interviewers most of the time tend to influence the interviewee's thought with their own understanding and also want to verify correctness of their understanding by interjecting in between the conversation; kind of like try to bridge or patch up thought

FYI: In part 2 of the interview Sri M tells that he had the Ash before the interview and didn't produced it right here because he had an intuition that interviewer will bring up the topic of Sages doing Magic tricks. Extract is that he did a trick to convey the message that these things can be done by anyone so follow a person for his knowledge and not fall for the gimmicks

It is clearly seen that while he was producing the ashes he was rubbing his fingers together . This shows that at first he had the ash ball hidden between his fingers . Then he breaks it down to form the ash .

That's the trick, when you are awakened to your real self, spiritually elevated. Sunny, rainy, autumn, snowy, etc won't matter to you and you ll go through the motions for gaining experience. Literally everything, even being stuck in a traffic jam, when you are late for a meeting will not bother you.
Eventually, you will leave becoming a victim of your circumstances 🙏
In the book he says he learnt magic tricks like producing Ash Outta thin air even before he went to Himalayas...he used to hold magic shows in college
The interviewer is good and his style is similar in other interviews. Only thing he himself is an evolved soul n interviewee is not uncomfortable.

Sri M is looking older in this video compared to his recent ones..can it be due to his one kriya in which he can rewind the age of his body. He mentioned doing that process every 5 yrs or so to keep himself active and fit. Looking at this video , i think the process is quite effective.
In the movie interstellar Cooper is inside the tesseract built by higher beings.... And they give him the knowledge taking back him to earth safely... It's all in our minds we can travel and come..... But it's real in other realms

That is the art of interviewing when we almost forgot the presence of the interviewer and only the person being interviewed is led on gently to reveal more and more or himself
Souljourns I have a simple question. What were in search of or what was your intent when you interviewed M? Why so much of emphasis on miracles? why so many questions abt things like 'materialization' and so on...? Why so many questions abt what gives you an awe, superhuman, supernatural?

Sri M is one of the few real masters of the modern age. He's not trying to play a role of a guru, he was simply instituted by his teachers to be one. The very own fact that when asked if he likes his role he answers with hesitation that no, not so much is so appealing to me. The role of a guru is a demanding job.
I remember all my past lives and have watched this earth cool down.. I used to think that everybody remembered this.. Hah It was a shock to find that so few remember their own past lives.

Is the vibhuti given by Sri. M still in use? He only gave you a pinch but said that it would last forever. I am curious to know :)
