Into the Night, In the Stars, Little Black Party Dress, dark kiss, etc they alll have Patch in there somewhere, whether they list it or not. Come to think of it though, I really should have expected Ballet Nights to be one of their "patch scents" as i call them, given their usual conceptualization of night scents as those.
I think ballet nights is not a repackage of WVW! Its definitely giving those vibes as WVW but its not a repackage to my nose. Ballet nights doesnt have a pepper note like wicked vanilla woods but it does give off a sultry/patchouli vibes which i do not like. Its definitely a date night type of scent. It was an easy pass for me! Now satin slippers is pretty! It smells like the OG Rose like the DNA of it but my nose is picking up more jasmine coming thru (prominent note) than the rose. The rose is a background note. Its a very pretty scent n you have to like florals to like this one. Its strong, perfumy, projects, and creates a beautiful scent bubble. I love it!! Definitely want to get back ups!

I adore Wicked Vanilla Woods so definitely picking this one up. I don't think I will like the other scent and I passed on the original Pink Suede and will do so again. Halloween packaging for WVW was amazing 😊
its so interesting how different everyone’s smell is! i personally thought it smelled pretty different from wicked vanilla woods and i could smell the spiced plum note in a fruity way! definitely something you may wanna smell before u buy because it seems like everyone has a different take on it! a good scent tho in my opinion!
Yes I agree with you Bonnie on the Vanilla! That is exactly what I got on my first impression. It is a dupe to me for WVW, but the packaging is gorgeous! I am glad they brought it back because a lot of people were bummed it didn’t come back for Halloween.
Picked up Ballet Nights today. I don’t think it smells like Wicked Vanilla Woods at all. If anything I would say it’s a fruitier version of Into The Night. I like it but wish it lasted longer.
I can confirm that it smells nothing like Wicked Vanilla Woods 😕. Distant cousin, maybe. But even that's a reach. Back to the resale apps it is for me to find Wicked Vanilla Woods.
To me this is the love child of all the good things from Everlasting Magic and Dark Kiss. I love Ballet Nights so much. It's so good. The plum is deep and dark, there's some smokey incense note and a strong Everlasting Magic note. I disliked Dark Kiss a lot, it smelled like Toilet Air Refreshner, but the incense note was so unique. Glad to find it now in Ballet Nights. This is an absolute gem!
Oh my , that is too funny. To me , the 2 smell nothing alike. I hate Wicked Vanilla Woods as it makes me sneeze. A lot. Ballet Nights is so different to me. It's warm , fruity and sweet. I absolutely love it. ❤🇨🇦

This is good for me. I was one click and a half second from paying $30 yesterday on Mercari for a 75% full bottle of Wicked Vanilla Woods in the mist and cream, but a little voice told me to hold off because a better deal is around the corner. I didn't expect this though!
Hi Bonnie! NO FREAKEN WAY!!!! I LOVE Wicked Vanilla Woods!!! I did get a back up last year in the mist. I was tempted to go into my local store tonight after work, but with the messy weather I passed on it. I may go into my local store tomorrow after work. I want to pick up a candle. The stores here are open all week long as our Thanksgiving was in early October. Not a holiday here, but Black Friday sales are happening. I will see if my local store here in Canada has Hot Cocoa & Cream as well in the mini. It's not listed online here I don't think. I will have to smell Ballet Nights in person myself to see if this is one I will pick up. Something tells me this one I will like. I love Into The Night as well which is one of my favorites BBW fragrances, so I'm guessing it may be part of the same family. The shower gel in WVW was grey as well LOL I heard Satin Slippers is a lighter version of A Thousand Wishes.

I agree. I stopped in my local store today and thought that Ballet Nights smelled familiar. IMO it’s a slightly subdued version of Wicked Vanilla Woods. Also, Ballet Slippers sort of reminds me of the Rose scent which has now become an online only item.
I think they're gonna end up removing colors from all the actual products. Shower gel, mists, everything. That sucks to me, I've never had any issues with dyes and the colored stuff looks nice.
It means they are having financial issues. Many manufacturers try to cut production costs by removing unnecessary materials such as dyes and label colours and textures. It happens a lot in Latin America. The most shocking example is Venezuela, where cereal boxes practically have no colours and their finish is matte. Here in Mexico, many brands started following such a strategy some years ago. Bottled water brands have already removed the colours from their labels. They use eco-friendliness as a marketing excuse, but the truth is that they're in trouble. Their sales are decreasing because of the increase in their prices but they can't lower the price anymore without reducing manufacturing costs. 😢
I just got a dozen new BBW body mists a week ago and I'm working my way through trying them all. Today was Ballet Nights, and then I saw your video right after. I never smelt Wicked Vanilla Woods so I can't compare the two. But I immediately loved Ballet Nights. The first thing I smelt in it was the plum. And for me I can still smell it all the way through. It really does have a fairly strong plum note to my nose. And I'm just crazy about the scent of plum.

I was going to try it, but I’m going to be honest and tell you I’m pretty disappointed in the holiday/winter body care this year. I bought dahlia, strawberry snowflakes, and vanilla bean Noel when they had their big 5.95 sale a few weeks ago and none of them are strong. I bought the body cream(which is typically the strongest), body wash(even the moisturizing ones), and the mist, they’re all much weaker than the years past. I returned the strawberry and sadly the dahlia scents because I knew I wouldn’t use them since I couldn’t smell them. Even my husband said he didn’t think they were up to par for bath and body works.
I smelled the new ballet collection in person and found that Ballet Nights was the only one that interested me much. The other two feel like they've just been done too many times. I don't really blame B&BW for the fact that many of their scents smell similar, mostly due to how long they've been around and how many scents they have put out. I haven't smelled Wicked Vanilla Woods so I can't compare the two, myself, but do find the plum to be prominent in Ballet Nights. I have to say I'm impressed with Ballet nights because it has a good amount of scent that actually is still detectable after several hours, unlike many of their fragrances in recent years. And it's priced at $16.95, more reasonable than some others, and is in the price range for redeeming a reward (which is how I got it!)
Wicked Vanilla Woods has an amazing smokiness that Ballet Nights doesn't have. I can totally smell the fruity plum in BN, also. They might be cousins, but definitely aren't twins in my nose.
I don't reach 4 any of those scents often enough to buy anymore of the same however I will purchase 1 set at the SAS bc the packaging is so pretty but it's not stockup worth, tfs.
I had wicked vanilla and ballet nights smells different to my nose. I love ballet nights because of that sharp note. I’m assuming the sharp note is plum. I enjoyed wicked vanilla but I love ballet night. Thanks for the video.

You may not like it then. The dry down has that sharp patchouli scent, but it’s not strong. Upon initial spray it’s a sweet, fruity amber.
