unpopular opinion. in the last two years shlomo's style changed a lot. i know that he has to follow trends, and he plays a lot, so he just changes to not be boring. but i wouldnt call this techno anymore. he was one of the best djs in my opinion, but now i cant even listen to it. i know people enjoy this too, so i wont blame anyone

Can you provide an example of a set before this change? The set at Bonus Festival in Budapest 2022 is played much slower BPM, is that perhaps what your talking about or something entirely different?

​@@Trdat look up Invite's Choice Podcast 374 - Shlømo which was from 2016, completely different BPM, style, structure etc etc it's quite obvious he jumped ship to play this super fast 'techno' that's very popular right now (not really techno). It's one thing to change your style but this is just very a clear downgrade, there aren't many DJs who were in that sphere of techno that made such a change. Anyone who's been listening for a while can easily discern between the two

Appreciate the response, this is fascinating for someone who analysis different types of music. To be honest, this new genre(hard tehcno) is the first style of music I have come to like since the early 2000's of hard trance and hard house so I am slighlty offended that people see it as a downgrade but I understand that it is a major pivot from the style you linked. It is probably a shock to many who prefered that other particular style. But, even this new genre has changed quite a bit since I first heard it on youtube Parfait | Boiler Room Paris: Possession, I suppose the evolution of music is to get slightly faster and harder.@@louisshyers3577
