He didn't want Kellerman on the show anymore due to his ability to at times obliterate SAS in certain conversations. He had a little pull to get Kellerman out of there. Any person with common sense would know that this only warmed Darvin’s seat. I don’t understand how that’s so hard to understand. I could see if the season was going excellent then it would just be portrayed as two guys with brilliant basketball minds talking about the game. But players were already not getting along with Ham and the record was bad. The podcast just seemed to be a passive aggressive way to signal to Pelinka that Ham should be fired. I don’t know Lebron’s intentions, but it doesn’t change the impact. I wasn’t a fan of Ham either, but you can’t bite people in the back. Stephen A had a point.

What’s the point of this conversation is this what sports media has turned into?
The content of the podcast was inappropriate and Labron who is always aware of public perception was also aware of the negative impact to coach Ham. Also if JJ is that genius that many claim, there is no way that he wasn't cognizant of the potential negative impact that the content of the specific discussion (Lakers strategy and schemes) would affect coach Ham.
Fast forward to today and JJ has the job. LBJ will definitely have more influence. I'm curious to know who'll be on the coaching staff other than LBJ lol.
