Movie studio mainly use Nuke from Foundry for composition. This is the industry standard. Ae is mostly used in tv industry for motion graphics. They use Autodesk Maya not Max. Max is mostly used in gaming industry. Blender is slowly gaining 3DS Max share. They also don't use Premiere pro that much. Davinci Resolve is the industry standard tool to do color correction. Avid Media composer is mainly used.

For the film looks we have to do some color grading and color corrections
Step 1. Start krma h right color contrast and exposure set krke
Step 2. colors set krte h midtones, shadows, or highlights me
Step 3. More colors or flares add krna or skin tone krna
Kafi sare plugins market me h jo apko film look me help krnge
For eg. Magic bullet - film looks
Or lumetri pre installed effect h after effects me color correction k liye.
Da vinci resolve Mainly use kiya jata h kyi sare projects me color grading k liye
Film looks k liye apko color correction and exposures ka mainly dhyan rkhna hota h. Don't do so much exposure because you need to maintain shadows and midtones also.
If you want to achieve results fast go with Magic bullet Film Looks plugins. It will help you.
