He does it in the next DAY, buys 51% of the weapons company from his adopted father, shaming him to the point he leaves and disappears(in the maga the man kills himself from the sheer embarrassment of loosing his own company to the brat he adopted because of a chess game) He turned that weapons company around purely into one dedicated to entertainment, and he keeps going. He is the best rival character in all of Yugioh, because throughout everything he didn’t believe in fate to help him, he became equal in skill to The pharaoh and Yugi with nothing but raw skill and intellect. He’s the most materialistic person in the Yugioh universe, and he deserves to be, he is Seto Kiaba, and he is the BEST

Just a flat out 1v1 no “plot” forcing yugi to win , no shadow games to save someone , no bullshit end of the world drama , no “kaiba this duel is dangerous and we need to end it !” Bs , just a straight up blue eyes v dark magician all out duel . My money is on kaiba
If you watch the duel analysis of the Battle City semi finals between Kaiba and Yugi by TGS Anime you’d see that Kaiba was robbed due to plot. Despite that, it’s within Kaiba’s character to think that that’s how his “perfect victory” would go against Yugi lol.

It's kinda funny how my image of Kaiba has changed over the years as I grow older. First I thought he was cool, then I thought he was an edgelord and finally I think he's the most over the top drama queen of all time and I love it lol
I feel Kaibas resentment and Hate but I Kno the true power of love I use to duel dudes wit way stronger decks but always well most times end up winning because of my well placed thought process it's really satisfying when I Kno u can't win off sheer power and still do because of well placed help cards
