Before Chungking Express, I hardly knew anything about Hong Kong. I remember hearing about the handover back when I was a teenager but it was barely a blip that hardly registered. Not being able to take it out of my mind for a whole week I searched for the film. By now I've read up on Hong Kong's history and would like to go see it one day. I'm not a fool, I know it won't look anything like this anymore but still. I want to walk a bit on the streets, look out on the bay and then leave. Just to get that "past life" thing out of my system.
Yesterday I did a double feature with my friend we watched chunking and then Fallen Angels. Finally found someone who is absolutely enamored with these films as I am and now im debating what to show them next from the collection. PS: Dont know if youd remember me, but I reached out to criterion and theyre sending me tested working copies of everything! :)

I don't bypass it. They get all the money and some of my videos still have been blocked. The secret is: don't get 2 different copyright claims (1 from the owner of the music rights, and 1 from the movie) So i just try to edit the movie's scenes as short as possible so they don't get the copyright claim. As for the music there's no way out of it, the song is automatically recognized by RUclips system once you upload the video.

How do you bypass the youtube copyright? or these scenes and music haven't got the copyright issue?
I don't bypass it. They get all the money and some of my videos still have been blocked.
