What do you mean about the explorer subclass? I don't recall mentioning that in the video 😊 There's a load of summons, obviously the handler gets the dog, there's also a class called the summoner specifically dedicated to summons, they get 3 different types of summons, and if you pair that with a damage dealing class like the hunter or gunslinger, the you can summon monsters to tank for you whilst you're at the back dealing damage! I am actually working on a video using this exact setup to show off a really OP build because it's so strong! 😁
Explorer is bad because it's entire gimmick is built around finding more items on the map which then boosts your speed and damage. The problem is that he's the most feast or famine style class heavily dependent on finding pick ups to keep his buffs going. No pick ups, no buffs. Every other class has some way of keeping their passive skills active 100% of the time and aren't as restricted as he is. It's why hardly anyone makes endgame builds with Explorer, you want consistency on Nightmare or Apocalypse and Explorer doesn't really do that. For summons, there's 3 classes with summons. Handler (the dog is classed as a summon strangely) the Engineer, and the Summoner (naturally). They can be okay, you can build around them dealing damage and healing you when they do it, so sustain isn't that bad. You've also got weapon mod summons to add on to have a little army of ankle biters for a bit. Only issue is they get room temperature AI when dealing with flying enemies, and there's a lot of those in the game.
Between Challenger and Handler, Handler might be best for a new player as it's starter weapons are much more forgiving then the Challenger who expects to be in the 10m range of most enemies and the revolver is fine...just not as a starter weapon. Same for the shotgun. The Blackmaw is your bog standard assault rifle. Not bad, not great, but fine in most situations, and the dog is a dog. It's only mildly retarded but is fine for getting the heat off you. So yeah, go Handler then grab the other archetypes later.
Started with challenger and i found handler and they make a pretty solid combo together. The shotgun from challenger is actually really good early game
@@angelgomez3802 I started with Hunter, because man who is good with gun seemed like a logical pick for a third person shooter that heavily emphasizes shooting things. Plus his kit is strong enough that not having a built in "get out of jail free" card wasn't that big of an issue.
Yeah it's a shame when people release spoilers so early, we were specifically asked to keep all content to the first chapter ONLY, so anyone that has feel free to report them to the publishers!! That's why I've kept it to the starter classes so I don't spoil anything for you 😍
Thanks for putting this guide together, Dom! Super helpful information!!!
Excellent explanations! Looking forward to more advanced guides!
You're not limited to 1 skill at a time, you pick 1 of 3 from each class, both the primary and secondary, to use.

I wasn't that interested in this game before this vid but it actually looks pretty fun. I would probably play the Medic

We gonna have a medic/handler/chellenger team to kick this if with my friends. So fuckin hyped for this one.
best feeling is not knowing about an awesome game and finding out it releases in a few days. thought they were done after Chronos
Gunslinger isn't starter class it is only for people that preorderd it
Great video I thought grey bar was xp bar I had no idea tks for info what a good 2nd class for medi gunslinger?
What is that sword you used with the hunter? :0
What are the tiers? I didn’t see any ratings in the video
Great video, but I think you missed the tier list part of the video 🤣🤣
Had me at dog
combining the medic and challenger class makes u like a paladin, basically immortal on some diffucultys.
I think I will start with the medic since I will be playing solo
Okay 2 questions. First why was the explorer subclasse bad thing? Second how many and what kind of summons are they?

Sacrificial comment to the Algorithm
Well seems like all youtubers have played and completed it. What a fucking joke pointless preordering if everyone gets it a week earlier.

Cry more noob
Don't see a problem... RUclipsrs get early access as play-testers... Sorting out the bugs and such...
@@mrnebb01 obviously they haven't done a good job as it's buggy as hell
@@reecedevon9846 Tell me 1 game that isn't...
Excellent. I can’t wait to play this on Saturday. Well, I guess I’ll have to. 😹
