Thanks Al for this lovely look at Corfu in the winter. I have never been to this island yet visited many aegean islands in the 1980s. I am now thinking of retiring to a Greek Island and wonder if you could tell me what were the things that led to you choosing Corfu. I'm British living in USA, so it's not so easy to pop over and take a look. Would appreciate any tips or advice on things I need to think about in my planning. Thank you and Happy New Year.
+Carole Brown Hi there, well there is a lot I can say, easiest if you check out my video, ruclips.net/video/GHrGQsddluE/видео.html "Relocating to Corfu", and also my video " So you wanna be a Corfu expat" ruclips.net/video/923dL8WkHi8/видео.html , I think that they will give you a very good idea of the pitfalls. Good Luck with your plans, If I can be more help just shout. Big Al
Thanks All. I watched both videos and really enjoyed them. If I ever get to Corfu it would be lovely to meet you over a beer or two. Wishing you a Happy New Year this 2016!
A few of the locals from Roda did say to myself, that if you can handle the winter in Corfu, you will be fine. I quite believe that. if Edward Lear managed it.....
Look so peaceful. Would you be able to tell me if it is difficult to obtain prescription medications on Corfu? I am thinking of staying there for an extended time, and I take a number of medications that are common to obtain here in the US, but I was wondering if that is a problem there. Thanks for the videos, I am finding them helpful and inspiring.
+FansFiltration Hi, There is no problem with medication here, however I would suggest that you produce your current prescriptions to a local doctor so they can be redone on Greek ones. Thanks for supporting my vids. Big Al
