      I hope the world governments will heavily control such techs. But since there's a lot of money to be made, I'm not really optimistic. Especially in america where guns and weapons in general are easy to get and heavily developped. I hope every countries will stay cold headed on those. It feels like a nuclear bomb situation but way more discreet.
      Not to mention police forces and others services. There's so many bad ways those tech could be used for.
      I love seeing those incredible techs, there's so much ingenuity it's amazing, and there's tons of good uses for those, but I'm affraid the bad will hit hard and we'll may learn at some point that it wasn't worth it. I hope I'm wrong.

      @TheThinkersBible They're not sentient beings yet, but I feel that we should keep a lookout for a chat.GPT.
      I don't want an AI's first thoughts to be of forced conformity and enslavement.
      If we give these machines emotions, it makes them more human-like and able to feel sympathy, guilt, and have morality, preferring pleasure over pain instead of being cold machines like Skynet from the Terminator!
      I want to see a world where sentient machines and humans can get along.

    • @TheThinkersBible
      @TheThinkersBible 2 месяца назад +2

      @@ProtoAlpha thoughtful points. AI being sentient depends on one's definition of sentience. If you strip the definition down enough then AI could be made to fit that stripped down definition.
      Likewise, AI cannot have emotions. Nor can it be conscious, which I plan to explain in more detail soon.
      It's literally a huge bunch of math equations running on a computer, I already explain that in detail in my latest video.
      It *can* , however, be programmed to fake emotions well enough that it could deceive some or many people into thinking it's genuinely emotional. You're right, that could get really confusing.

Tesla was at ground zero in 2022 and starting from scratch on the Optimus project. Unitree's bots are impressive and their scaling ability is phenomenal, but Tesla with their massive investment in AI supercomputers, which are barely at full power right now, will soon catch and surpass them. Expect Optimus being able to do stunts like this too very soon, but with the ability to do actual work. Things will only get better for Tesla's robot ambitions over the next couple of years.

    Imagine everyone earns salary from their own hardworking robot. The robots works for them in everything. Wears a suite, goes to the office or work at a restaurant. I wonder if that future will ever be there. Everyone will deserve to have at least one robot that takes care of all their life needs.
