I loved your videos on Panama. I've lived there three different times in my life. A small correction to the end of this video though: that is a normal low tide for Playa Bonita. It has nothing to do with climate change.

On the Pacific side tides are around 15 to 18 feet. That means 18 vertical feet. On a gently sloping landscape the water can retreat a great distance. About a mile west of where you took this video there is an island about 3/4 mile off shore that can be walked to at low tide. Thanks for sharing the video!
Great. Thanks for the correction. It was just shocking to see that change in the tide, especially in light of hearing about the drought in Panama so again thanks for that correction so that and I can be sure to communicate that when I get a chance. so we’re actually gonna be heading back soon so be looking out for more videos.
@@lisadonnelly9811 Hope you enjoy your travels. If you had been on the Atlantic side you would never have seen that amazing withdrawal of the tide. Fun fact: the 'Atlantic Side' does not push up against the Atlantic Ocean, it is on the Caribbean sea. Tides there are of about a foot or so.
