I'm with you as impressive as the halftime show was, more impressive is the production quality, making everything seem effortless. What seemed like random chaos it was a perfectly executed show to the T. Noobody bump to each other, nobody bump with camera crew in the middle of an very aggressive dance sequence while all the angles were on point.
I'm always impressed with the halftime show production, and this one was no exception. Just the sheer number of in-ear monitors...everyone had a set, including the old men playing dominos and the piragua seller! Had to be at least 100 sets. The camera work, the choreo, even the stuff BB did himself, like climbing the power pole! Such an A+ performance by everyone involved.
Fun Fact: the couple who got married was a real couple who actually got married during the half time show because they had originally invited bad bunny to their wedding but instead he invited them to be married at his halftime show

I'd actually say the other way, but anyone with 2 eyes or 2 ears... or a brain, can sense the meaning in this, the beauty in the music, the joy, the unreal camera direction, it has so many meaningful pieces, just like a puzzle, whoever created this is a freaking genius, seen it many times and LOVE every single one of them.

Y’all I played violin in this Super Bowl halftime show and it was the best day of my life. It was so incredible, fun and emotional to be a part of this historic moment with so many talented people!! 😍🎻🙏🏼 Today’s performance made all of the long days and challenges worth it on this journey!! I was adopted from China to my family in Alaska, grew up in log cabins without running water & electricity, and immigrated to Canada when I was 6. I’ve been building my career as a full time performing violinist in San Francisco the past 5 years, and being able to be a part of the Super Bowl Half Time Show was a dream come true that I never even imagined possible. 🌹🙏🏼🎻 I’m so grateful for this opportunity and appreciate all of the support! 🥹

It’s been 5 years since the federal government promised to fund the upgrades, and yet bs bureaucracy is holding it up. Also, I did have to Google this one, but the 64 on his jersey is a reference to the original underreported death toll from hurricane Maria by the US government. They originally tried to claim only 64 people died, when the reality is, is that around 3000 people did. I was not personally affected, but many people I care about were, and I will never forget the daily check ins to see if their family members were safe.

The team who orchestrated all the cameras, during a live show, did more than an excellent job. Not a single glitch, including with cameras on drones. It was totally like a video clip, but live with tons of angles and scenes.
People don't often notice stuff like that but the editing+camera work for a live show like this is crazy hard to pull off well. Especially with so much going on like it is here.
My grandma is 94 years old and from Puerto Rico. The other day I was asking her what she thought about the Super Bowl and she told me how she liked the sugar cane part because her dad worked in the sugar cane field. She was born 1932. I love hearing her stories.
Underrated aspect of this is the cinematography during this live broadcast; these shots and camera jumps and edits are just incredible, its just under 14 minutes long but it feels like a full length movie, this is an all timer
This was a 13-minute opera/musical theatre piece, and it was beautifully executed. From the opening title card reminiscent of In The Heights, to the storytelling, to the set pieces, to the wedding, to the big finale celebrating all of the Americas, listed from south to north. I can see why people with small minds who were expecting just a concert are confused and perplexed.
The real winner of this halftime show is the set design on display here. So many different scenes displaying Latin American culture. It really felt like an adventure.

If u didn’t know: the utility poles Bad Bunny climbed on while performing “El Apagón” (which in English means “The Blackout”) highlights the often blackouts that happen in Puerto Rico, and it also represented the aftermath of hurricane Maria and its damages to Puerto Rico such as months without power
& also the constant issues that Puerto Ricans encounter with no power or issues with the power daily ! Hurricane Maria wasn’t the start of those issues, but shut the power off for months etc.
I love that Latin culture ALWAYS includes elderly people as part of society in a inclusive, normal way; at all parties, street festivals, events, community etc. In the US elderly people are not seen anywhere. If a 80 year old walked into a reg festival, party, club where most people are young they are seen as outsiders. In Latin America nobody thinks it's strange. They are part of society and on top of it people make the effort to make them feel included.

Y’all I played violin in this Super Bowl halftime show and it was the best day of my life. It was so incredible, fun and emotional to be a part of this historic moment with so many talented people!! 😍🎻🙏🏼 Today’s performance made all of the long days and challenges worth it on this journey!! I was adopted from China to my family in Alaska, grew up in log cabins without running water & electricity, and immigrated to Canada when I was 6. I’ve been building my career as a full time performing violinist in San Francisco the past 5 years, and being able to be a part of the Super Bowl Half Time Show was a dream come true that I never even imagined possible. 🌹🙏🏼🎻 I’m so grateful for this opportunity and appreciate all of the support! 🥹

10:12 The line workers got me!!!! For people who don’t know PR has an old and extremely fragile power grid, and thanks to multiple bad storms it needs serious repairs and upgrades. It’s been 5 years since the federal government promised to fund the upgrades, and yet bs bureaucracy is holding it up. Also, I did have to Google this one, but the 64 on his jersey is a reference to the original underreported death toll from hurricane Maria by the US government. They originally tried to claim only 64 people died, when the reality is, is that around 3000 people did. I was not personally affected, but many people I care about were, and I will never forget the daily check ins to see if their family members were safe.

The team who orchestrated all the cameras, during a live show, did more than an excellent job. Not a single glitch, including with cameras on drones. It was totally like a video clip, but live with tons of angles and scenes.

It's been less than a month since the show, and I guess I must have watched it fifty times or more. Really, really outstanding.
My grandma is 94 years old and from Puerto Rico. The other day I was asking her what she thought about the Super Bowl and she told me how she liked the sugar cane part because her dad worked in the sugar cane field. She was born 1932. I love hearing her stories.
My dad was born in 1934, and he worked in the sugarcane fields for some time.

Underrated aspect of this is the cinematography during this live broadcast; these shots and camera jumps and edits are just incredible, its just under 14 minutes long but it feels like a full length movie, this is an all timer
With the immersive set design and massive cast I was like "dang this thing is taking me on a whole cross country journey"
This was a 13-minute opera/musical theatre piece, and it was beautifully executed. From the opening title card reminiscent of In The Heights, to the storytelling, to the set pieces, to the wedding, to the big finale celebrating all of the Americas, listed from south to north. I can see why people with small minds who were expecting just a concert are confused and perplexed.
Funny how they had to add fake fan cheering sound effects because the crowd was mild 😂😂

I love that Latin culture ALWAYS includes elderly people as part of society in a inclusive, normal way; at all parties, street festivals, events, community etc. In the US elderly people are not seen anywhere. If a 80 year old walked into a reg festival, party, club where most people are young they are seen as outsiders. In Latin America nobody thinks it's strange. They are part of society and on top of it people make the effort to make them feel included.
