Nice video. Saw the comment you saying the Normal FX1 fits you better. I might get that one. I was looking at the wide too. Being 6'1 285. This video really helped figure things. 👊🤟
Awesome glad it helped. Thats why we wanted to make a video because it was hard to find any good information on the sizes. Normal FX1 is definitely big enough for you.
Hey man. I got like a 38-40 inch waist and I'm looking into picking up a set of FX1's for my s2k. You think I'll need the Wides and do you think the seats will fit in an s2k?
Honestly I have a 38 Inch waist myself with a pretty big beer belly and the regular FX1s fit better around me than the FX1 wide. Not too sure on the fitment in the S2k. The only problem I see is the tunnel where the tranny goes could cause fitment issues but it's not like 90s civics were very big so possibly it could. You and I both are at that awkward waist size where regular seats could be iffy but I think it was over thinking. If I were you I'd look up the charts and see the measurements of the seats and measure the width of the area in your S2k with the door closed.
It was a little lower but what we ended up doing was making our own bracket to lower the seat to a better level. Everyones body is different so a little modification and it worked perfectly
Thanks for the response, brother. I usually had a few bad experiences with bucket seats on a civic. I have a 95 and you sit way to damn high lol but I'll buy the seat and fabricate them hopefully the oem rails will work 😂
Seems that the rails sat the same or maybe just a smidgen higher the seats are definitely higher. When it comes to comfort with these being a fixed seat they are decently comfortable

After installing do you sit higher then the original seats?

How comfortable is the cushioning? How high do the seats & rails sit compared to the stock ones?
