    Under what kind of circumstances would a pack of lions be able to defeat the T-rex? And how many would it take? What would be the best scenario to defeat a T-rex?

      On the other hand, the T-Rex was also bulky, completely not agile (unlike, say an Elephant), it's bones brake easily from concussion, and it's hands, while quite muscled, are next to useless because of it's limited mobility.
      Lions can run rounds around a T-rex and use bites to the feet to bring them down as a T-Rex' centre of mass is high above the ground and it needs it's tail to balance it's head, giving it a turncycle of 20 feet at least. A fall would quite likely break enough bones in a T-rex for it to die from it. While a lion, falling from the same height would be uninjured.
      Also, Lions are much better at stalking a T-rex than a T-rex would be at stalking lions.
      Yes a T-Rex is an awesome beast, but it would struggle in the modern time.
      Almost every mammal it must eat to get enough nutrients in can outrun it in speed, and they are much more used to the circumstances of the current epoch than dinosaurs would be. And we can't even begin about what the modern day bacteria would do to a T-rex. Even if it ate a modern animal, it would, quite likely, get very sick from it.

    • @MrTroodon_Official
      @MrTroodon_Official 6 лет назад +2

      @@RichardRenes Speed but dinosaurs were long term runners, just like modern birds is very probable they had air sacs, while not as complex as modern birds they would clearly give an important adventage compared to modern mammals. Ofc when we talk about bringing extinct animals into modern habitats diseases are the biggest trouble, but not because they are species that went extinct it means they are some sort of obsolete or malfunctional model, if taken out of consideration elements like diseases or bacteria dinosaurs would probably outcompete large mammals, its only when you reduce the scale when mammals could compete with this creatures.

    • @navin7845

Usually a pride consists of some females, cubs and a couple of males (1-6) 6 was the largest male lion number in a pride (to my knowledge). Young males that reach 2 yrs or more are thrown away from the pride by the Alpha. This video is really a waste of time. Anybody with brain could tell that a T-Rex would rip lions apart.

    The real answer is they probably wouldn't bother fighting one another. Lions go after prey that is FAR faster than what a rex would bother with do to the energy exertion vs reward of catching such prey. The rex would be attacking on average much larger and slower animals than what the lions would and even with overlapping hunting grounds they would most likely stay away from one another (though the rex would occasionally bully the lions of a carcass).
    We already see this in the real world, most apex predators tend to avoid confrontations with other apex predators unless they have a significant advantage(IE a large pack of hyenas bullying 3-5 female lions off a corpse). Lion vs Rex is like pitting Rocky Balboa against a guy on the street sellin sunglasses; neither get anything out of it and Rocky wouldn't bother unless he was an asshole.

    Next Battle Pls Do Snail Vs Caterpillar Who Would Be Win?

      The caterpillar... if the battle was on land. Some can spit acidic substances that would franklykill the snail. In the water, however, the caterpillar would drown before the snail really did anything.

      Snail, because it can, umm, slither? It can slither at the speed of -mcdonalds kitchens- light. It is literally capable of running so fast it would split the caterpillar`s atoms. But, snails don`t run at their fastest because they`re too bored.

    • @eve42_
      @eve42_ 5 лет назад +7

      Well, picture it like this; (example)
      If your passion were to be a boxer, and you have to fight against someone much bigger and buffer than you, would you rather fight and keep punching or punch with a smarter brain? Well, if you fight with a smarter brain than you would most likely have tactics and strategies to think about how you're going to punch or fight the other person, to defeat them. With this strategy, you can fight with a higher asset and win! (Probably) If you were to choose "Keep fighting", you wouldn't lead anywhere because you are not thinking about any tactics, making the fight seem like a never ending match.. Only punching as hard as you can, wouldn't lead anywhere, you know what i mean? I know its not specific and brain size might not matter, but since this video is talking about "Which would win in a fight" than you should actually paint the bigger picture. Does this make sense? Sorry for over-doing it! 😂

      Since they only attack elephants in times of desperation, Id say a single desperate run in with a Tyrannosaurus and they would learn to hunt any other game in the area. Or better yet, wait for the trex to kill something and just harass it while parts of the pride eat its kill.

    The Tyrannosaurus had the strongest land animal bite, but where do you get 431,000psi bite force? A quick search says around 12,800 maximum. As for the strongest bit ever, that'd be the Megalodon, said to be around 40,000psi which is still 10x less than your Trex bite force figure.

      🤷‍♂️ who knows I doubt they would need to exaggerate the number because it’s a lot of pressure. But putting it at Number 1 was just for clickbait. Either way it was dumb because ultimately a lion or even a pride of lions couldn’t beat a T. rex. I understand they wanted King vs King but this was just stupid. And I wish they wrote the script to this as a large joke.

    Although the video's information was interesting and well conveyed to the viewers, I was slightly disappointed that you didn't answer the question in the tilted. Yes, bi understand it would be pure conjecture on your part, but I would be curious to know what your opinion would be. How many lions do you think it would take to hunt down a lone T-Rex? I saw a pack of 5-6 female lions take down an elephant in times of sparse food; so I estimate roughly 20-25 for a T-rex, with the dinosaur taking about 1/3 if the Lions with down with it.

  • @LilXancheX
    @LilXancheX 5 лет назад +4

    I think 100 lions can take a T. rex. As you said, lions will eventually tire the dinosaur out by trying to bite it in every direction. And when the T. rex is feeling tired they can go in for the kill and rip it’s eyes out and bite it’s belly.
    That’s like 100 pit bulls vs a rhinoceros
