Ernest, thank you for another great video. Can you tell us why you chose to "glue" the full sleeve to the liner and not just the ends, or some other combo? Would the different glue densities in the length of the sleeve also somewhat give different harmonics? Will these harmonics be easier or harder to tune? Don't get me wrong, stiff is very good for so many reasons, but, can you tell us real data/tuning that says it's better than the O-rings that we currently have? (I'm going to try this anyway, HaHa!)
Hi Ernest, I want to create a 700mm barrel for my fx crown with CF on it, can you please guide what parts I need to get, like transfer port, jam nut etc.. And is it do able?
good morning Ernest, very good your video, I would like to know the specifications of the carbon fiber tube that is placed between the liner and the pipe, thank you in advance.
I just ordered two of the 700mm oh yea I Installed the new dual tranf port dam with the slug kit geez ernest feel like I'm shooting a 22 cal rimfire in my backyard shooting 34 gr varmint knocks at 1025 fps easy lol.... crazy I'm going to back it down that's to much power but it's good to know I got it if I need it one of thses days thanks ernest
Hi Master Ernest!🙌🙏 About to order a couple of your CF sleeves! Just a question regarding the Liners! do i have to take of the transfer port, as these are Loctited to the Liner!! Can i not just remove the jam nut, clean it with sandpaper and brake cleaner, wipe it totally dry, mark with pen, then apply the Loctite and insert the CF sleeve and let it bund/cure??? Thanks!!! Stay safe! G
GeKo --- no need to remove transfer port or barrel adapter or unscrew the barrel tube. Remove jam nut remove liner clean and bone the CF sleeve to proper area let cure over nite then reinstall liner
Thank you I just got this and looked but the 25 cal 700mm is done sold out. When will more be available any idea. I love your videos I have learned so much and still have alot to go. Keep up the great work Ernest.
I got a new Impact m3 in January 2021, and oddly my liner didn't have the superior liner sticker on it. Is that the new thing these days to skip putting on the superior sticker? Or is something a miss on my gun?
@@ernestrowe5061 10-4 it cuz one of the liners I got in 25 cal 700mm measures 17 inches one full turn it has me scratching my head from breach to front of barrel exactly 17 inches top to top of barrel then when it start to turn it's like 20 inches

Yes no more oring to use, more stiffer. Measure the barrel ID and liner OD you will get your dimensions. These CF liner sleeve are made with custom size molding- so your not going to see the actual size I’m using anywhere.
measure the inside Diameter and outside Diameter of your barrel brother. Look on Amazon for the tighest fit. You may have to bu, two CF tube and cut it the proper length. And yes I'd glue it on as you see in this video. LET IT DRY COMPLETELY BEFORE PUTTONG IT BACK ON YOUR GUN.
Hi Ernest is there any chance of you getting a power plenum in production for a agt Vulcan2 like the fx wildcat it would be a good little earner for you and make a lot of shooters very happy am living in hope take care
Ernest Rowe Ernest that would be amazing to have you to do work on my gun but unfortunately I live in the Uk I would have driven straight over with out a doubt there’s no one over here makes one and in the USA they adapt the cricket one to fit my gun max speed is 845fps with 33.95 I would love to have them flying at 900 am 62years old and spend all my spare time shooting is there any way you could send the parts out and I could do the fit myself will Roman put a link on utube for me 5 months ago he’s had over 9k hits on it these plenum would fly out { am finding it hard to believe the grand master of the air rifle world answered my call YOU LEGEND } take care
Its best to use two part epoxy that chemical drys, the cf is long and blue may not dry in the middle. Cf didn’t have to be bounded- just slide in to replace orings

I wonder why they don't sell these pre-made (as an option to buy)

Congratulations on the channel.
I wonder if you used any kind of "Bond Line Controller".
Thank you
Thank You Ernest. Keep innovating
How do you know which end is muzzle n which is breech
I see some videos where the newest FX sleeves don't get bonded. Would you bond them anyway? Thanks for the info!

Always helpful Ernest!!
Did you shoot it to see how good or bad the harmonics are effected ?
Ask: 910airguntuningandrepairsllc.com
Would be locktide(blue) thread stuff enough instead off glue?
Are these available? I can not find them anywhere. I found others on ebay but those seem to need epoxy or something and do not fit and perfectly.

congratulations, I'm from Brazil, what is the name of the adhesive used in bonding the tube
He said in another video that any two part epoxy will work but he is using black 480 Loctite .
Don't use regular glue.
What kind of lock tight 🤔 please! There are Several formulas and hardnesses.

What's the twist rate on the 25 cal 700mm barrel all of them from pellet to slug liners do you know ty great stuff ernest thanks for sharing
Chris Figueroa - Hi, that info is posted on FX Airguns Facebook and Instagram

Super glue worked a treat on mine
The barrel style you are using is not the same style I have, mine has no jam nut
ERNEST . which of the liners is the best. superior heavy or superior liner?
Normal superior
Quais as medidas do sleeve?
Why don’t they make the 700 carbon liner full length like the 600? I would think the 700 would need the most stabilization.
They do 👍 in this vid it doesn’t look like the right carbon liner is on the 700 barrel liner I have one and it’s longer
can the 500 liner and shroud be adjusted for the 380 compact barrel
Where can I get the carbon fiber tube and what’s the price
is the 600mm sleeve we sets on 700mm barrel?reply please

Man I need one bad! They say out of stock, any idea when you might have more?
Call FX Dealers, what caliber??
This barrel is only for the impact ?
So, no more orings and no more flex? What are the CF tube's dimensions for a .25cal

These CF liner sleeve are made with custom size molding- so your not going to see the actual size I’m using anywhere.
Ernest is it necessary to add adhesive on the 700mm barrel?
Can the sleeves be installed on the new Mavericks to increase precision accuracy?
Maverick use the same size STX barrel & shroud system as the impact
What if I got a 35cal will the I need a sleeve for the slug liner?
Hell yeah you will bro!

Hi Ernest,can I have this on my Wildcat MK2 700mm 30cal smooth twist X liner?thanks
Tomas Delos Reyes -> FX STX liners are all the same don’t matter what model. So .30 will only fit inside.30 CF liner sleeve
Thanks,is this available now?
So which Loctite is better 480 or 638 ?
Would araldite be ok to use for this ?
Where can i buy the cf sleeve ?
I would like one on my 35 cal impact.
Not possible-> only blue Teflon tape can fit between barrel and liner 😜

Is that loctite 480 ?
Will the Permatex brand blue thread locker work as well?
