  • What advice would you give? That's a pretty stout question, especially when it comes to our kiddos.
It's no surprise that eventually our son would want in on the lifestyle. Of course there are always mixed and reserved emotions knowing your children are embracing the roads like us. The dangers, responsibility, and overall decisions that we now make second nature when enjoying two wheels. All I can do is help guide him with developing great habits that hopefully translate onto the road making him that much better, safer, and smarter.
That said, I'm curious. For folks who might have grown up rocking two wheels like ‪@TravelingTall‬ and those who's kid(s) are now joining the ranks of #bikers, ‪@CYCLEFANATIX‬ ... how did you feel? How'd did you practice with them? What was the biggest piece of advice you gave?

Thank you for your service. Practice practice practice. Be focused on riding, head on a swivel, never assume other drivers see you, take a slow speed course, those are only some. Glad to see your boy is riding with you. 🤙👍

Thanks John! I'll pass that onto him. Great advise thanks. As for the slow courses... with him being on base I think, not entirely sure, that after a year of having his endorsement, he has to go back and do an advanced class. I'm personally planning to get down there to Robert eventually (@BeTheBossOfYourMotorcycle) and/or Jerry (@motorman857)

There is no greater joy than riding with you son. However it can be the scariest thing that you can do.

Today's riders are lucky, the full face helmet is making a comeback.

@@Rpm68 I noticed that too. I tried telling him to perhaps consider a modular. Sure a touch heavier but kids now…. They know everything. Hahah

Don't be pressured into riding Harleys. You'd rather spend your time riding your bike instead of fixing it.
OMG LMAO it took one minute to find it leaking . Can't make this stuff up.
