I lost count of how many times I beated this game. And one thing I clrealy remember was how brokenly easy the game was once you bought the heavy machine gun with regina xD
I remember the enemies feeling like they were made from cardboard in this game compared to the first one. The first game had fewer and more powerful enemies, and it was more about being scary and tense than being action-packed.
Its sad how they ruined the dino crisis franchise by doing the dc3 into a spacemonster game... they shouldve done a sequel to this, when regina builds a time machine 5 to 10 years later and returns to pick them up
PervertedNovaxc3 I'd prefer a reboot. Avoid the futuristic technology and action genre. Just a much more realistic, cramped, survival horror. This series rivaled Resident Evil before they butchered it
One of the most underrated games of the PS1 era in my opinion. Amazing music, amazing sound, great graphics for its time, AMAZING action and game play, good story, great voice acting and characters. Very good game but it also came out a little bit before the PS2 came out and many other games overshadowed this game in terms of popularity. Would love to see a remake of this one with a lot of the same gameplay mechanics.
This, right here, is a defining moment of my childhood. Back then, when I first got it, I could barely speak english, so I had no idea what was going on regarding the plot (neither I had idea of the events that took place in Dinocrisis 1, of course), but still, it was very exciting for me. I remember I spent a lot of time being stuck at 32:57 without knowing what to do! Eventually, I beat this game first than Dinocrisis 1; both games very different towards each other, but still, masterpieces on their own right: the first one being slower and more about survival, mystery and brains (those damn puzzles!), the second one way faster and smoother. This demonstrated that the developers behind these games could take some risks and branch out since the series were already succesful, but they fucked up big time. How could they not continue the story right after the events of this game?! It wasn´t that hard! Well, at least not as hard as the cluster fuck they came up with, with that fake ass Super Mario Sunshine shit! We need to know what happened with this wonderful characters!
It was the biggest let down for us fans from Capcom. I don't understand how they could let a franchise like Dino Crisis die... I checked so many videos about Dino Crisis and they broke every selling record with it. Same with me when i was a kid i didn't understand english so i had trouble with the game.

Joy 'cause part of my childhood and early teens were so happy is because of this game were part of it. you're truly a pro, I keep getting hit at certain parts and get a no damage when there's less enemies. Probably since this is my first time playing through it. It's good to know they kept the save tune from part one.

Dude, you're champ. Farming that "no damage" bonus and combos... My personal favorite was the solid cannon "zone of invincibility". You needed infinite ammo but you just keep shooting the solid cannon as you ran and nothing could hit you from in front or behind. Never leave home without it.
How to encounter blue raptors: have at least 20+ combo on a raptor infested area. go to the next raptor infested area and you have 2 raptors worth 7000 each. (Note: You can only kill these blue raptors with a solid canon, anti-tank rifle, or rocket launcher)

Graphic was shitty but atmosphere and plot intrigued us. 3:07:12 - couldn't finish this mission, dropped the game... and answer for everything was in last 10 min... what a pity

I always prefered to play as Regina for two reasons.
Dual SMGs.
Not only they fire fast but you could shoot at two different directions which was neat

Well i find that using the solid canon with consistent movement a really effective method to kill the allosauruses we encounter.
I like the art style or design of this game more than the first game.

This game was awesome ride but my favorite bit has to be the end credits. You just see the dinosaurs going about their lives and not getting blasted by anti-material rounds an such -- there's a serenity to it.
Ya those credits are awesome never have i skipped them from the numerous times ive finished this game.

This game was just all about mass murdering dinosaurs in combos. Completely different from the first which was Survival Horror oriented lol.
